I remember I read somewhere that a majority of people remember having at least one lucid dream as a child. I personally do remember when I was a kid trying to ward off nightmares by saying to myself, "I'm just dreaming" over and over one night. That night I had some dream involving the Rugrats, but knew in the dream that I was dreaming. That's always been somewhere in my mind and has gotten me interested in the subject. Does anyone else remember having a lucid dream as a kid?
Yah! :) I can remember two off the top of my head. Thinking about it though, I must have had a ton. I wish I had kept a dream journal back then. Definitely something I would encourage my kids to do.

I can remember knowing i was dreaming in a particular dream and just sitting on the floor willing to wake myself up, but ive never really had any control when i was younger.
Yes, I've remember one for a long time. I think I was still sleeping in my crib. It's always bothered me.
I can always remember the scenery at the time. I was standing on a hill, looking at the full moon. It was night time but the full moon illuminated everything so nicely. I believe there were a couple small clouds drifting by.
Yeap, sure do! Especially in dreams when I or some of my friends were chased by monsters (or other freakish things). I then thought "oh, what the heck, I'm dreaming" and beat the crap out of that evilish monster. I sorta developed my own dreamsign :D.
But after beating the monsters I always just went to normal dreaming state again :(
I can remember pretty much only lucid dreams from when I was a kid, I'm a natural lucid dreamer and had many of them even back then. It's just that almost all of the ones I remember from my childhood are nightmares. :(
I started lucid dreaming as a child and carried this on into adulthood. Like Mes I wish I kept a dream journal back then. My dreams were always so much more imaginative. Now my mind is blocked by realism and logic, and my dreams are somewhat monotonous, until lucid :(
I used to have this one awesome dream when I was 4-5.
I was trapped in my room, and it was red, but I could jump really high.
It was fun :P
