Very sweet lucid date with my wife
I had these two lucid dreams this morning. I’ve left out a lot of detail and tried to stick to the main plot because it would take 20 pages to write down every single detail. As it is, it is pretty long. Congrats to anyone that makes it all the way to the bottom!
This is not an action adventure and does not contain gratuitous sex, violence, or excitement, it is a love story.

I became lucid in a small southern town. I say became lucid, because I had already been wandering around this town for quite a while now.
Oh great, I thought. I've already blown almost an entire REM state wandering around here, NON LUCID, grrrrr!
I vowed to take advantage of the time I had left. This was one of my special lucid dreams, my wife(I will call her Doris in this narrative) was with me, maybe we were dreamscaping?
I don't know why, perhaps it was due to a YIM session Lowercase and I had yesterday, but I decided Doris and I would go on a lucid date.
It is not often that we get away to explore and have fun without the kids.
We began walking around and exploring the old town. It was an older southern town, probably founded in the early 1800's. Lots of old brick three or four story buildings.
Lots of signs painted on the brick walls in the old fashion that was popular in the 1940's. You've all seen them, advertisements for pharmacies, offering Coke for 5 cents a bottle.
It was a warm summer evening, maybe around 7 pm or so. The heat of the day had passed, but it was still light and comfortably warm. Short sleeves and shorts were all you needed. Doris was wearing a nice white sleeveless top and pink striped Capri’s with leather sandals. I had on a polo shirt, khaki shorts and my Nikes.
We walked into this nice old building, it must have been a large department store at one time, but was now an antique shop. It was nice and musty, with lots of cool old stuff laying around. Did I mention that collecting antiques is one of mine and my Doris’ favorite pass times?
Doris called me over to look at an interesting mirror, it was very old.
I’ve been sharing my lucid experiences with Doris for some time now and have been telling her all of the neat things you can do. I thought this would be a great chance to show her instead of just telling her. Slowly, I extended my hand and placed it on the mirror, the mirror became fluid and I pressed my hand though it. She thought that was kind of interesting.
I pulled my hand from the mirror and pulled her to me. We faced each other, my left arm was around her and cupping the small of her back. My right hand was placed between us in the center of her chest, just above her heart. Her eyes widened, she knew what I was going to do and she was afraid. I assured her that it was alright, no harm could come to her.
She raised her lips to mine, and while we kissed, I gently let my hand enter her body and rest inside, on her heart, it was a tender and intimate moment, we had shared something special. Our lips parted and we looked into each others eyes as the dream faded.

I awoke and looked at the alarm clock, 6:31. I looked away and looked again, 6:31. One more time, 6:31. OK, I’m awake, but I’ve got to get back to my date! I immediately began practicing MILD.

I found myself back in the town with my wife, yay! We were sitting at a long table with a bunch of other people, it was a celebration of some kind and we had all of the traditional picnic foods.
Great! I thought, we get to continue with our date. It was the same town, we had on the same outfits, everything.
When we finished eating, we went out walking the streets of the old town, I like architecture and was very interested in all the old buildings, Doris loves flowers and decorating as was looking at all of the flowers and shrubs. It was still a wonderful evening, the sun was getting low. The clouds were turning nice golden and pink colors and a very slight breeze was blowing.
Since this was a lucid dream, I was levitating instead of walking. You know, kind of like Yoda did in Star wars when traveling down the hall. I looked over at Doris and asked her if she would like to learn how to fly. She kind of shook her head and said that she couldn’t. “Don’t worry”, I told her, “I will help, take my hand. All you need is faith and trust”. She grinned and replied “Where are you going to get the pixie dust?” I had to smile, that was silly!
Slowly, we raised off the ground. I found that I was having a little difficulty transferring enough energy to her. Soon, we were hovering about 10 feet off the ground, holding hands. I attempted to move us forward, but didn’t seem to have the energy. I then applied the attraction method, using a large building as my focus to pull us in.
You know, pine trees can really hurt, especially the white pine variety that lives in the south. They have very sharp pine cones. I had failed to notice that there were some of them between us and the building. Luckily, I was able to stop us before we inflicted any nasty scratches.
I looked over at her and into her eyes. “Isn’t this great?”, I asked her. She just nodded and smiled. Slowly, we sank back to the ground and continued our stroll.
At this point, the dream became a little disjoint and soon faded.
I awoke refreshed and more in love with Doris than when we laid down the night before. The alarm clock read, 6:58, two minutes until it was to go off. I turned it off, rolled over and kissed Doris and asked her if she had any interesting dreams.
She said that she could not remember any. Oh well, not dreamscaping, but a pretty nice date for me nonetheless.
I got my shower and left her to sleep a little while longer.
