WILDing question
ive tried multiple WILDing techniques, none of which worked.
i think the problem is that no matter what i try, my mind kind of loses its attention on whatever im doing (counting, imagining things) and just dies on me.
for example, ill be counting down from 100 and if im tired enough, by the time i get to 50 or 40 ill slowly and progressively pause, and eventually within seconds just conk right out. or lose complete thought process.
any ideas on how to look past this?

Ello.
Your problem may lie in the time that you are trying to WILD.
It will only work in the REM sleep mode which occurs when you are not "tired".
The REM mode is common in the mornings when you already have had a good sleep and just doze off again or during an afternoon siesta. Try at one of these times....
Good luck.

When do you try wilding usually? maybe you are just to tired. Somewhere i read that, well, reading in bed before you go to sleep helps keeping your mind a little more awake.
BTW i think its "super profundo" (super deep)

probably is...
and i dont know if youve seen the actual movie 'Waking Life' or not, but in the actual quote he says "perfundo"
one reason probably portraying that hes in dream world and all that he sees and hears is in his mind. so its probably messed up on purpose.
and to answer your question, i try whenever i can. before i fall asleep at night, when i wake up in the morning to a few of my alarms (i set 5, but not all of them get me up)

thanks, yeah ive seen that one before, and luckily i had done it wrong. it took me until now to re-read it and understand it the right way.
how often does this technique work for you?
