Thread: My history and recent success

First off I will be 51 on the 8th of December. I first got into dreaming when I was 14 after reading Castanadas books. I didn't give it a lot of energy and it faded out after a year or two of no thing happening. I restarted about July of 05 and have had poor results. Mostly in dream recall. Well on the 20th of November I had a real nice semi-controlled lucid dream. Below is a word for word copy of my journal entry.

I found myself in my bedroom. I was in bed. The PC cart, the PC accessory table, the plant stand that is between the foot of my bed and the far wall was gone. There was a "sophet" structure in the corner from floor to ceiling that is not there in the waking world. In a mirror on the wall I saw white theater mask. A smiling one. It frightened me and I slapped myself to wake up. Ater "waking up" I looked in the mirror and saw three children playing by the foot of my bed. I looked at the foot of my bed and there was nobody there. I then KNEW I was in a dream. The furniture still wasn't there. I got up and went to the mirror. It was VERY difficult to walk. Like sleep paralysis. I touched the mirror thinking it might be fluid in a dream. It wasn't but I could still see the kids.I spoke to the children but they seemed not to hear me.I looked behind the mirror and it was just a wall. I verbally prayed to the Great Spirit asking for direction or knowledge of what the dream meant to my spiritual quest. I do not remember receiving an answer. Then I woke up again. I did a few checks verifying I was in the waking realm and I was.

Now here is the kicker. I talked to my Dad who is 81 and 80% blind about it and dreaming in general. The next day he saw a small child run out of my room through the house and right through a chair then disappear. He described him to me and although I didn't write or talk about the children's looks. he described him perfectly.

Any input on any of this would be great.
