everything i got upto last night (long)
sorry for the long length - this is everything i can remember. i guess this would class as a DILD, but this is the first time i did lots of things...
so here goes.

I was on a concrete platform by the side of the Thames in London with a few of my friends. I'm not really sure why we were all there but I decided to look at the river.
Surprise surprise, steam rollers were driving up the river instead of boats.
"Hey wait a minute.. steam rollers don't steam roll water. I must be dreaming!"
I tried to remember all the things i've read on DV. the first thing i got as a response to my first post was to ask a DC if you want to see someone.
So i tried henry.
me: "have you seen amanda?"
henry: "no, sorry"
i took no as an answer, and tried spencer.
me: "where's amanda?"
spencer: "why are you looking for her?"
both an understandable question and horribly appropriate. after that spencer started to get angry, and pulled out a lightsaber (as you do).
he started chasing me with it but i just jumped out the way.
i wanted to do that thing (i call it space-jumping) where i can jump REALLY high and then land a few feet away.
so i jumped out of the way a few times, and then decided i to go up a ladder i found at the end of the platform. the ladder lead to a fire-escape on the side of a building but i couldn't easily go anywhere from there.
i woke up in my room, with a cold. then my parents came in with two psychiatrists (who seemed to need help more than me). one of them was really tall and decided to try and walk up the banister rather than the stairs...
anyway time to try out more DV stuff. ah! that hands thing. At first my hands looked normal. then slowly they began to sort of "wave" a bit, and turn slightly red.
hang on, i'm still dreaming! damn you false awakening. right. must stay focused. if i'm here, and i'm lucid, and i know where amanda's house is from here i can get there.
i ran downstairs and in my lounge, someone had left a window open and one of my kittens had gotten outside (they're not allowed out yet). for a moment i said "hey you shouldn't be... fuck it, it's a dream. run free!" and moved on.
outside i decided the best way to get there would be bike - i do a lot of cycling. so i jumped on and started going. i got to the end of the street easily enough. but then about half-way along the road to amanda's, everything went crazy. first there were loads of people, then loads of cars, then loads of cars having a car-chase, then loads of cars having a car-chase and shooting at each other. sadly i smashed into a car.
for a brief moment a game-like pause menu came up (i was playing crysis before bed again) and then when i "cancelled" it i died.
i woke up in my room. my hands were still wavy. right. try again.
this time once i was outside i thought "why don't i try something else like walking through the wall?" but considering this is the first real time i've indicated to myself i'm dreaming without getting too excited and waking up (previous light-switch incident), start small right?
i decided to test if the dream got clearer by rubbing my hands together - which worked! eventually i found a kids trike to use.
whilst i was pedalling along on my ridiculously small plastic trike, i wanted to look at a watch to see if the time changed. so i got my phone out. it seemed normal. open up Contacts - lots of text there. it seemed normal. ok, remember one, look away and then look back. and, sure enough, when i looked back it changed. and then it changed again. it wasn't like a fading change - it was a snap change. cool. i had to rub my knee with one hand to stay crystal clear, but got hit by a car again.
i woke up in my room. i thought maybe i'd try and change the scene rather than trying again, so i spun around, but nothing happened. i could still see my room. all that did was made me look stupid...
so anyway i thought maybe bike's/trike's aren't the best way to go about this. maybe i should just go on foot. so, when i got the "crazy" bit i started running. i had to dodge cars, not get shot, or run over, and get to the end.
but i managed it! beyond that it was like the whole street became the foyer of this huge apartment block (obviously not like in real life, but the block was in the same place as amanda's real life house). my friend rob was hanging around.
rob: "what are you doing here?"
me: "looking for amanda"
we went over to the buttons for all the rooms and pressed 4. (i can't remember what the real number is.)
rob pressed 2, 18 and 19 "just for giggles".
so we waited a bit. the door opened.
i woke up in my room.
