The fortune cookie technique

I had a fabulous idea after this lucid I had last night.

I didn't know if I was dreaming or not, but then I looked over at my computer keyboard desk (usually unoccupied since I have a laptop) and there were 5 regular cookies and a fortune cookie. I opened the fortune cookie to see what it said, I read it, then looked away and read it again. It was different, I kept doing this to prove to myself that I was dreaming.

So my idea is this, go to sleep holding a fortune cookie letter, have enough light in your room so that you can read it without having to move...then once you think you might be asleep, or close to sleeping, read the fortune cookie.


This accomplishes two things. One it is an absolutely perfect dream sign, and two it allows you to focus your dream and keep it more steady. (if your familiar with the look at your hands technique for keeping dream steady.) anyways lemme know what you think, or if it works for you.
