Lucid? I usually average around 10 min (or so it seems)

I just had a non LD yesterday night that was a couple days long. Too bad I didn't become lucid during that

My longest lucid was probably around an hour and a half.

I had a lucid when I went to bed at 3:30 it must have started soon after and it felt like it went for AGES like half a day or something, not really sure. I woke up and when I looked at the clock it said 4:30 so I was pretty shocked at that; I thought it would be morning by then. It definitely felt like more than an hour.

Almost all my longer lucid dreams last four hours, for very specific reasons.

Uh... someone correct me if I'm wrong, but your REM period is nowhere near four hours.

Indeed, but dream time perception is vastly dissimilar from actual dream time. I was under the impression this thread was about -perceived- dream time, as how could you measure with any degree of certainty how long your -actual- LD time was?

I have had dreams which have had certain occurences from previous dreams, and also recurring dreams from night before - usually around work or something similar.

ahh the hundred year dream... I've had a non lucid dream which seemed to be a lifetime, which was set in Tolkien's Middle Earth.. I've decided though that it's a trick of the mind creating a lifetime of fragmented memories from the dream. It only seemed like a lifetime. My longest lucid dream though was about 20-25 min. of full lucidity. The best way to make them last long is to forget about real life, as hard as it is.

I thought it was about perceived time also. Since you can't really sleep for days naturally. Let alone 100 years.

If it's real world time the only way to measure it would be in a sleep lab with brain monitors and what-not.
