Finally got into space!

Yo - well after my sister was telling me about how she had an LD on Friday, I said to her I was going to have an LD again tonight and fly into space and sure enough - I did!
I've always tried to fly into space when I LD but something or someone draws me away from it. But this was great. It was all vivid and I knew from the start of the dream I was lucid. I flew vertically really really fast and was looking down and it was amazing watching the earth disappear from me. Then I entered space and I found it hard to stop myself and I was floating everywhere!
I saw loads of planets and stars so i started to fly towards one but I could feel the dream fading away and that was that. I forgot to spin or anything and the weird thing was that I didnt wake up immediately after like I always do so I nearly forgot all about it!
Anyone else visited other planets recently?

Nope, I haven't visited the planets... yet. I tend to only fly in my LDs ( :D :P ) but I don't get higher then around 5 stories.

I just had the longest clearest lucid dream of my life this morning, and I flew through space. I was in a building and I decided that through a door would be outer space. I opened it and sure enough there it was. I jumped, but instead of flying I fell. Faster, and faster and faster. It kinda freaked me out cause it felt so real. Then I relaized I could just fly so I started flying up. Well, I'm gonna post the whole experience in a minute.

Congratulations on the space journey. Sounds pretty exciting. I didn't make it to planets or anything.

Bassadict, were the planets that you saw the ones that orbit in our solar system, or dream planets?

In the LD that I had last week I flew up to space, but all of the planets were fabrications of my mind. I really wanted to go and mess around with Cassini around Saturn, too. Too bad that LD wasn't very vivid.

When I got into space, I saw everything as you would expect space to look like really, but not actual real planets. I didn't see Saturn or Mars, just big planets in the distance. I remember flying so fast that stars were whizzing past me like you see in Star Trek out of the window when they are in warp!
Next time I just have to get to a planet and land! LD's are the best!

Space LDs are some of my favorites and I've experienced a couple different kinds.

A few nights ago when I was entering into the paralysis sleep state, the 'tunnel' into the dream state was space/stars (like a vortex affect).

The time before I quickly zoomed from ground level through a few different levels of atmosphere into space (just stars, no planets). Very calming and exciting at the same time. There I found myself with a person or guide who said I should question reality, and I reached out and what I thought was the universe was actually a wall of 'goo' (not unlike in the movie "Contact".)

Has anyone contacted alien life before? I plan on to going through space, but believe it or not I'm really scared of aliens...

I almsot got into space today, trying to do a WILD. I found it to be the easiest thing to visualize. I was this close. I started having stong HI and sensations of flying around a city, but found it too much for me to focus on, so I flew into space(still on the edge of this world and that) and it was very easy to be in space. Easy to visualize and fly around..but I don't know what happened cause next thing I know, I'm waking up 2 hours later. Damn close!

Seriously. That is great. I have been well on my way to space only to loose my Lucidty. So like Seeker, I envy.

Next time you get into space fly into a black hole for me. They are fasinating. Not that space itself is not.

A black hole. Wow. hadn't thought of that. If I make it to space tonight, that's the first thing I'm gonna do! I can't even imagine what that would.

I once shot out of my body while in a Lucid Dream, kinda like an Astral Projection within an LD, and then went just past the Earth's atmosphere to the border of space. Didn't last long. I think when I start moving too fast I freak out a little and wake myself up. But it was a cool feeling just knowing that I was in space. Congrats! That is so cool. I would love to be able to do that. I shall aspire. :)
