Changing your body in LDs

So last night I had a DILD.:banana::banana::banana: I didn't know what to do once I got into the LD, so I just kinda ran around looking at DCs. Then I eventually found this hut that turned out to be a really nice bathroom. So I looked in the mirror and did a quick RC for the hell of it. Then I wondered if I could change my own body. I grabbed my arm with my hand and started imagining alot of muscle being added. Sure enough my arm became super buff, hulk style. I did it to the rest of my body, and let me tell you. Having added muscle on your body in lucids feels extremely weird. You can feel them as if it were real life and you were that buff! Anyways, I thought it was pretty cool and just felt like sharing it and putting it out there for anyone who hasn't tried.

That sounds nifty! I'ma have to try that sometime... I'm kinda boring :P I always go straight to flying :boogie:

haha, yah... flying was pretty much the only cool thing I've done until this last LD. But, it's fun to try new stuff like this ;)

I wonder if it is possible to completely change shape, or lose a body altogether .. would be an interesting experiment..

Probably possible but not at all easy.

I flew again last night :P I'll have to make a real conscious effort to remember to try new things! I like the idea of trying to change body altogether, like maybe become an animal or strange creature or something?

My LD goal from now on will be to always dream as someone or something other than myself.
I will focus on only becoming that one particular person. I will also choose an animal that I admire and work at consistently LD'ing as either.

It's fun to change your dream body. :) My "shape of choice" (other than my own) is usually a horse or a bird.

In one lucid dream I changed my body on accident!
I was looking in a mirror and I accidently dragged my nose to my forehead
I tried to correct it but then I accidently contorted my mouth

next time I'll aim for something cooler, like becoming an animal or my fave. celeb!

The advanced task for last month was to change into the opposite sex. That was an interesting one.

I started feeling up my chest. Man, if i had boobs i'd play with them ALL DAY.

Yah so last night I tried this again, and I turned into a giant wolf... It was one of the weirdest but coolestexperiences ever. I could feel every muscle on my body. And it felt right to walk on four feet. It's pretty trippy.

One of my first transformations in a dream was a fairly simple one. I forced myself to turn into a character off of this Video Game series. Materialized a sword in my hands, and even forced myself to start glowing with a dark-bluish glow like you sometimes see in games. It was pretty cool.

Sounds pretty cool. For some reason I tend to take the shape of a dog in my dreams however I’m usually not lucid at the time (frown).

Have been able to change the shape of DCs every once in a while. (while lucid)

Last night i was in Jon Bon Jovi's body, though i became lucid this way.

This is fascinating, that it is possible to take on (appearantly) whatever shape one desires, and feel as if it is the natural body.

*should focus more on lucid control. really want to experiment with this*

has anyone tried to lose their body altogether?
