Suggestion for out of control flying.

This worked for me.

If you have problems when flying out of control. Next time you are lucid try and make it lightly snowing while flying.

With snow as a point of reference, it's easier to maintain direction and altitude based on how the snow is reacting to your movements. Typically those physics are well ingrained into your head already so you don't need to concentrate on control as much.

When you get to that point, try doing fun things, like flying in a light snow at night, feeling warm even though it is snowing, with lights from a town down below and a musical theme playing in the background.

Thanks, I'll keep this in mind. No matter how many times I've tried to fly, I could just never get the hang of it.
