My first DILD! Damn aliens!

This was my first intentional LD (a DILD). The previous 2 were natural ones, I gained lucidity for unknown reasons.

I am lying on a bed in a small room. It is quite dark, yet the walls look bluish and they remind me of the sky at night. Then I notice that the room looks more like an observation room, with windows everywhere. I see an alien observing me from behind one of the windows. It looks tall and slender, but can’t see it’s face. For a second I am terrified but the fear quickly changes into happiness as I realize that I just solved one of the mysteries of the universe (are we alone?). Then I do a reality check because seeing an alien is not something you do every day. And finally, the test is NEGATIVE; I could breath through my nose. I get up and try to teleport or summon my subconscious, so I could talk to her. It doesn’t work. I do a reality check again and I’m still dreaming. I shout “Increase clarity” to stay in the dreamscape. But no matter how hard I try I can’t summon my subconscious. Then my view turns black. I feel the bed underneath my body but I’m not sure which bed it is. I do another RC and this time it’s positive – I’m awake.

Oh and the reason I want to chat with my subconscious is so I can finally resolve a conflict that has been torturing my mind for the last few months. It tried to get my attention first by removing some of my (bad) subconscious habits, and then with an "anima projection". (look that up)
She (according to some people the subconcious of a man is female) obviously wants to tell me something but I can't find out what it is.
So I thought "Let's go ask".

EDIT: I get the feeling that perhaps those **** aliens were blocking my powers.

I get very aggressive in my nightmares. I dont mean i start punching in my sleep.

Basically, i dont get angry very easily, but the thing that annoys me most in life, is lack of control, especially lack of control in my own head. So if im having a nightmare, and i know it, i will most likley end up killing whatever is scaring me.

I mean, i get very angry at whatever it is. Lets say i was having your dream. I would have walked through the wall, and punched that alien silly. Its not a question of wether or not i would have been able to walk the wall/window, i WOULD have walked through it.

My nightmares normally end in the death of a perfectly innocent, but scary looking creature xD

I was too focused on the teleporting/manifesting of my subconscious. I got the idea of the power-blocking alien after I woke up. If I had known I would've kicked his ass of course. :P

I didn't try to use my other powers.

I havent tried the subconcious thing. Knowing me, my subconcious would be some sort of scary monster, then id probably kill it, and id never be able to sleep again. Lol xD

I think she'd be a nice person. I haven't had a nightmare in months and usually I'm doing something good/heroic or something random and pointless.
Nothing bad has happened to me in the past months (except a shape-shifting illusionist who stole my body!) but at least he didn't kill me.

We obviously are not alone in the universe, how is it that we got placed HERE out of ALL OTHER PLACES. And we believe this is the ONLY habitable place in the universe!? NO! I am young so I don't know how to explain this correctly, it's just my opinion... :)

Anyway, congrats on your first DILD and sorry you didn't find your subconscious.

Hey, I've still got 4,9 years of my life to go so I have plenty of time left.

And indeed, stating that we are alone just because we can't see much out there is arrogant and short-sighted. Perhaps it is true, life IS a dream. The aliens abducted me and plugged me into the matrix. I woke up for a second and saw reality. :?

Lol. You can only go by logic and common sense. Even if these other things are ture, you have no logical or sensible way of coming to that conclusion.

But this is a dream forum, so logic and sense are normally through out the window xD

Since I cannot prove ANYthing or disprove ANYthing I can only say one thing:

Agreed.

I dont think I've ever dreamt about aliens. Were they grey's?

I dunno, it was really dark and I could only see its silhouette...
All I can say is that it was tall and slender. This is my first dream that involves aliens btw. where did it come from??

If I was you, since I knew it was a dream with the reality check, I would personally try to hijack the ship. It would be fun to travel the universe for the remaining time in your dream.

There was no ship. I was in a futuristic bedroom, and my powers didn't work.

What I find most interesting about your experience is context in which it is perceived. You obviously have knowledge about Lucid Dreaming, or else you wouldn't be here. Therefore, when you have this seemingly real experience that reveals aliens from another world to you, you instantly attribute it to a vivid dream where you had no powers. However, someone who doesn't know anything about lucid dreaming, and may or may not necessarily be of sound mind, would interpret this as an actual alien abduction. They would wake in the morning with a strange "memory" of being abducted. Pretty soon they would start to fabricate inconsistencies in their lives that point to the possibility of being abducted, and BAM! Alien abduction story.

Luckily I was aware that it was a dream. I found it pretty strange that none of my powers worked though. (only tried teleportation and summoning)

The alien looked SO cliché that it couldn't have been real.
