Connection between a dream and reality?

Hello all, new to the site so i was wondering what yall think about this...

ok to start off like 3 weeks ago i was LDing and was pretty aware of it. I was dreaming i was in AZ with my dad and his friend ( who i didnt know previous of this dream.) We were walking down the road and i asked my dad who his frined was, he replies "Sammie the Bull" so im like damn thats crzy right and the whole time in the dream this guy named sammie was there but his clothes kept changing. The only time (near the end of the dream) me and this supposed Sammie talked he was wearing a jersey ( no specific team it was just representing a jersey.)

So i wake up from this dream, even told a roommate about it and me and my girl were getting ready to go to the casino. We get to the casino and she goes to the slot machines, so before i go to the BJ tables i was gonna check out the roulette table.
Watching the table for about 5 minutes i see 2 people not doin much, and one kid about my age playing with his dad and mom behind them, and he was winning like crazy. im like "damn nice job" you know and go on my way to blackjack. Played blackjack for like an hour, and decided to go back to the roulette table.
So i GO BACK to the roulette table and the same guy is there, without his dad this time. So he sees my tattoos and asks me where i get them, (i do tat's so we talked for a min) and he was still killing this roulette table. finally he introduces himself " Hi my names Sam" blah blah and we play roulette for like 5 hrs. he cracked this table repeatedly from 50$ up to bout 2700 in 3 hrs. so i give him my number incase he wants a tattoo or to gamble together, and he gives me his myspace and number, and both the answering machine and his myspace have strong relevances to Sammie the Bull.
I was like wtf and have been kinda puzzled for like a month now. Yall think theres usually a good connection between a LD and a past/upcoming real life event?


Ive had like 2 more dreams like that since then, but cant connect them to anything in life the details are so weird just thinkin alot about it its driving me crazy lol

There are several people on DV who swear that they have had dreams come true in some way (including myself).

I don't know what it is all about, but it's kind of cool and freaky at the same time.

I had a similar occurrence, except it wasn't as situational.

In one of my dreams I was poisoned with "Para-Dexedrine" (the entity poisoning me, was trying to boot me out of my dream) as I was aware of in the dream. This was something I was aware of when I awoke and wrote it down. I had no conscious knowledge of anything at all called Dexedrine before hand. When I went and researched the chemical "dexedrine" a few days later, I came up with:

"Dextroamphetamine is a psychostimulant which produces increased wakefulness, energy and self-confidence in association with decreased fatigue and appetite."

So either it was used to increase physical wakefulness, or it was "para" dexedrine because it produced opposite results. (within the dream world)

i just woke up from a dream about my grandparents finding out about me taking some of their money... it happened in real life, and in the dream it was crazy.... i feel so bad now... it was such a guilt trip dream :P

It's as if they were really with me....

A couple of days ago, I had a dream in which I heard an air raid siren.

The day after, I found out on the news that the sirens will go on that day for maintenance purposes.

I had a dream that my friend's dad died. I had never met her family, nor heard much about them at the time. I called her to tell her because the dream freaked me out so much. I read her the dream from my journal, where her dad unexpectedly died. In the dream, it was not really her dad, it was her brother's dad, which for some reason made it her uncle. She said her dad is fine, she didn't have any uncles, and her brothers all had the same father as her.

Two days later, her brother's boyfriend (who was 20-30 years older than him) died unexpectedly of heart problems.

Very sad example, I know.
