success
It only lasted a number of seconds, but last night I started a DILD. :P
I was at one end of my house, jumped forward facing the other end and swung my arms as if I was swimming underwater, and I floated all the way over to the other end. Upon nearing the wall, I tried to reverse my velocity by throwing thrust out from the angle towards the wall, but it didn't work and I figured that must only work in dreams. Then I realized that I had in fact managed to float all the way across the house, thus becoming lucid o.O So I just hovered through a doorway back to the other end of the house as I heard someone I know say "So you must be having a lucid, right?" This person is supposed to be a dude but when he/she/it came into the light, it was an ugly she-male O.o And then it was over.

ImageAll, congratulations on your lucid dream! I say "congratulations" as any lucid dream (no matter how short) is something to celebrate! :D
If you realized that you were dreaming even if the dream ended right away.. I'd still count that as a lucid dream (albeit a very short lived one). You still had a moment of lucidity.

Very good. Congrats, ImageAll!
Good job figuring out you were dreaming. I love floating/flying in my dreams.
Hope you have more soon!

Damn she-males screw up everything!!!!
Congrats on you lucid!

I always find it's hard to move sometimes in dreams too, especially when lucid. Like you said, it's kind of like walking underwater.:P
Anyway, congratulations on your lucid!:)
