I'd like to shout out a big thank you!
After 18 days of trying to induce an LD, I have finally succeeded :!: :!: :!: Here's the scoop.
Yesterday, some ppl answered a question I had about WBTB and were very helpful. So, when I woke up naturally at about 2:30 I got out of bed, took my dream journal with into the kitchen, poured a glass of water, finally remembered what I'd been dreaming about, wrote it down, drank the water, and got on the computer. After writing a really stupid post I proceeded to type up entries in my dream journal until an hour had passed. Then I went back to bed and tried to remain aware while I fell back to sleep after about a 1/2 hour.
The dream started out with me and another girl walking down some stairs, but I get this feeling of dread because I hear this chainsaw-like noise I think I've heard in another nightmare (which I'm pretty sure I haven't). I look back up the stairs and a man grins evily and shuts the door behind us. So, with no other choice but to descend we do so and sure enough, at the foot of the stairs off to the right is this man at a strange machine that's making a chainsaw noise. So, me and the girl start to get a little bit more scared, but that's when I thought to myself, "Wait a minute!" I grabbed the girl's shoulders in a firm grip and yell with a smile on my face, "It's okay! IT'S JUST A DREAM!" So then I completely ignore her and think to myself, "Oh boy! What should I do?" Unfortunately, in the thinking process I slipped back into a normal dream.
