      Wink Lucid Dream songs

I love music. Sometimes I hear the most amazing music while LDing. If I knew how to write music I would just write the music I hear in dreams.

Unfortunately, the songs I actually manage to remember upon waking are, well... You be the judge.

      *lyrics only*

song 1"I like to poooooke the eyeballs and chooooke the bastards! *repeat*"

song 2"VAGINA! VAGINA! Lincoln log and a turkey butt. VAGINA! VAGINA! Lincoln log and a turkey butt.....*repeat*"

So am I a lucid genius or what?!

Lol well i don't hear anything like that.
But i do hear some awesome instrumental only music what i would love to write(i'm a composer), but i find it hard to remember the specific details of the music after the dream.

Attempting to fly off a cliff is NOT a recommended reality check.

      Omg

Those songs are hilarious! I can only imagine the melody that goes along with them.

I'm jealous regardless of your quality of songs. LOL. I never hear music in my dreams unless there happens to be music playing while I'm sleeping and it carries over into my dreams. Not exactly the same thing.

Music in dreams is great, maybe the best experience to go through in them. And much better is composing the music in real time.

Hrm. I don't know what kind of dreams you're having.

In my dreams, if music at all; it will sound like a loud, abrasive, electric bass guitar with tons of feedback smashing out repetitive notes in an infinite loop gradually increasing in volume and quickly losing any semblance of a melody, as the 'song' progresses.

      A good experieince all around.

Sometimes I can clearly hear a music tune, either existing or an original one. It's like I have earphones and I'm listening to an mp3. Rarely I can make the tune in real time with my mind. I can choose what instruments to play, the volume, how the melody will evolve. This is really great because in reality I'm an electronic musician and it's very inspiring.

The last time in a vivid lucid dream I was listening to Aphex Twin song.

      heh.

It's discouraging for me since I love music so much, but I've heard other people have the same 'problem' as well, though.

I've been hearing music every now and then.. a few weeks ago I was listening to a song called 'It's so calming' by a band called vanilla(I hadnt ever heard of that band before either btw lol).. Anyway the lyrics just kept saying "It's so calming", over and over in a soothing male voice while I was lying in a bed. I had had a pretty full on LD dream before it.

I also heard some music last night in a LD where when I was walking on the ocean music was playing and saying "Step outside, (your reality)".. over and over.. it sounded like it was by the same band as the other song. It was a cool tune and relaxing.

I'm definetely going to try listening to music in my dreams. It would be interesting.

However, there's a band that actually uses astral projection/lucid dreaming to write music.

Can you imagine how much music theory these guys know? To be able to remember music from your dreams, and write it down... Incredible. They must also be good at LDing too

The music isn't for everyone, however.

I heard Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, in a lucid dream... That was a great experience...
