      Lightbulb Techy bathtub dream

This was just plain weird so i thought hey i'll post it.

We want to move semi rural and do the semi - alternative living thing but we are stuck in the suburbs with various commitments.

Last night i was tired out of my brain in the bath round midnight annoyed at being stuck in the suburbs and wanting a project. I knew straight away that it was a dream but it seemed ok so i just went with it.
I'm walking up this perfectly grassed hill, i look up and there is a wind turbine at the top with a very relaxing "swish, swish" noise and a perfect blue sky, i get to the top and notice it is different in a lot of ways and would work really well. I think "show me how it works" and my view turns into a well sketched diagram showing all the generator internals. i thought "wow thats pretty good", then i thought about the bearings and the sketch showed them too - again really clever stuff and so simple. The blades were going to be difficult but the dream then showed my garage and how to make them in balsa and fibreglass - something i had never considered.
When i got out i drew the sketch and it still looked fine in the morning, it solves a heap of problems in ways i never came close to considering.

Has anyone else ever gone to sleep thinking of a problem and then had a semi LD showing them the perfect answer with step by step instructions?

I can't think of where half that stuff came from.

springtide, I've never had a dream that provided me step by step instructions to solving a problem but I love the fact that it's possible and that you had one.

Hm. That makes me wonder if it would be possible to learn something in a lucid dream and be able to make/do it when you awake, even if you have absolutely no experience with it in the past.

If I tried something like that and managed to get a diagram out of it, I think my main problem would be remembering how to put it all together. It'd be cool to get sort of tiny step by step instructions in your dreams, much like you get on paper when putting together a model of something.

I'd be able to create something awesome, that way.

Oooh, maybe I could get sewing lessons from Saint Jehanne. =O
