It sounds like a lucid dream to me. There are a couple of ways you can test this next time it happens. Try to look at your hands or to float off the bed. If you can do either of these things then you definately are having a lucid dream. |

I really can not explain what my dreams are. I have these about 6 times a year. Well, I went to bed on night and and started dreaming that my body was being pushed from one end of the bed to the other, but it was as if I was awake the whole time. I kept trying to tell my self to wake up because I knew that is was a dream or something. It is as if I am awake but asleep. I finally woke up from the dream after a few minutes and I was in my same spot, but I had chills all on my body. I had another dream a few months back like something or someone was trying to pull me off the bed. I saw my husband next to me and was trying to scream for him to wake up, but it was all a dream that is why he did not hear me. These dreams are as if I am asleep but my eyes are open seeing everything around me. Everything is the same in the dream as when I feel asleep but just the pushing or pulling off the bed is diffent. I hope I made myself understandable. If I can get any information on what this Is that I am having. Lucid or Not? |

Thanks. Well when i was being pushed from one end of the bed to the other end, it was if I was paperweight. Kinda of in a light floating feeling. |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
