Mine was when I was in Kindergarten. I remember used to wanting to know I was dreaming while dreaming. One night, I suspected it was a dream because I was in a tuxedo in my Kindergarten class. I realized this would never happen in real life and I soon became Lucid.
Cool ^ . My first lucid dream was a few years ago. I was in a completely white void. I realized that this was impossible so I became lucid. I remember soon after, I spawned a pac-man arcade machine.
Sounds like a good lucid, what did you do after you found out you were dreaming?
For my first lucid I do not remember what happened in it. I think it was most likely another nightmare (I had those every night) and I stopped running and told myself I was dreaming and all I had to do was wake up from the dream lol. So after trying to make my dream nightmare monster go away (which did not work) I told my self to wake up and I did.

I was in elementary school; 4th or 5th grade, I'm not sure.
I was at my elementary school during recess and me and my two best friends were at the swing set for forth and fifth graders that's shaped like a pentagon. We each had an animal symbol above our swings. One of my friends had a blue dolphin and the other had a purple cat. Mine was an orange ape and I didn't like this because I didn't like the color orange and I didn't like apes. I walked a ways up a hill and was standing on the blacktop looking down at the playground when I realized it was a dream. And I told one of my other friends who was standing next to me, "This is a dream."
She said that it wasn't, and we started arguing back and forth the way kids do:
"Yes it is."
"No it's not."
"Yes it is."
Then I looked around for proof and everything was a bit too colorful, but what I noticed as irrefutable evidence was that the ground was pixelated and made up of repeating squares of texture like in an SNES game.
mine is kind of lame. it was a few years ago. i was an owner of some ice cream shop and i thought, "i don't own an ice cream shop." and i just flew away. i woke up soon after. the end

Short but sweet. That reminds me, I haven't used my binaural beats for quite a long time, I think I'll bust them out tonight.. I think I'll go with Newport Waves, I always smile when I think of that almost lucid I had with that one. It's so Don Juan-esque with the whole "traveling great distances" theme. (Without the long walk back! :D)
Mine's here somewhere. It happened several months ago, maybe even a full year I can't quite remember. I was running down a road, and I realized it was a dream, and I got this really charged feeling. I went on to fight zombies, I could summon more zombies, and I also called on a bus to come save me. At one point two zombies broke onto the bus and I was able to kill them with my bare hands.
Mine was maybe when I was 8. This bad guy was trying to kill me. Then I realized I was dreaming and knew I could do anything. I sent him across the world. Then I got a limo, with a TV, all the video game systems, and all the games.
The first one I can recall was when I was perhaps 8 or so. I can only remember two segments from it, but considering how long ago it was it's a wonder I can remember any of it at all.
It took place in the day care that I attended at the time. I have a memory of being in the bathroom and there was this vent on the floor which is not there in waking life. I remember thinking, "This is a dream, and that means there's no reason why I can't use the Force to lift the cover to this vent up!" So I outstretched my hand towards the vent like Luke Skywalker and sure enough, the vent cover lifted into the air. I was ecstatic.
The next memory I have was of me in one of the classrooms in the same daycare. I am flying around the classroom, however, it isn't like the way that I fly now - it was more like I was swimming through the air. It felt neat.
I also remember an early experience where I suspected that I was dreaming but never became fully lucid. I was in 4th grade at the time, and in the dream I was in my 4th grade classroom. I don't remember why, but for some reason I suspected that I was dreaming. I decided I had to do some kind of test to be sure... a primitive reality check :wink:. My logic at the time was "If I'm dreaming, then that means I'm not really here... so if I reach down and touch this desk, I won't be able to feel it!" So I reached down and touched the desk, but alas, it felt just as real as in waking life. So I decided to sit down in my seat and pay attention. :lol:
About 2 years ago maybe?
I was standing in my HS office, no one around, lights off. except the counter was lit. I had so trash so i threw it away. I moved the trash can to a more convenient spot and then i noticed the trash didn't move along with it. That's when i knew I was dreaming. I tried to fly for a little then started to walk down the hallway which only 1/3 of the lights were on so it was dark. I saw one of my teachers and started to talk, woke up right after.
mine was a few years ago, i was dreaming that i was running down my cousins road.. i noticed that the houses were different to what they normally were.. this is when i realised i was dreaming, and i began to fly, and do things that ive always wanted to do but couldnt, was pretty cool :D
since then ive taught myself how to wake myself up if im having a nightmare ect.
mine was in Jan 08 and consisted mainly of a pretty surprising nightmare.
i awoke into my dream state from a WILD and found kids from the neighborhood just chillin in my basement. i was pissed and chased almost all of them out and talked to a neighbor about it. once coming back into the house i noticed some teens still there, mostly sullen with hoodies. one specifically gave me an evil look and showed me a gun he was holding and he said, "i told you..." then he starting killing all the other teens in the basement. i dove into another room (bathroom) and locked the door when he threw a teacher thru the door and took a bar of soap and wrote on the mirror (white soap with blood stains) "everyone dead". i was frightened, but knew it was a dream. i just let the dream situation take me for a ride and didn't try to exude any strong control over anything except myself.
i then awoke into SP and then started another (not so violent!) LD about a family party. crazy!
I remember two around the time I was in Kindergarten. Since I don't remember which one came first I'll mention both.
First, I was in a dark, dripping room. This vampire creature was coming for me and I was in front of a bowel of blood. Becoming lucid, yet still fearing the vampire, I decided to try everything I could think of to wake myself up. I pinched myself on the cheek and splashed the blood over me. No dice! The vampire still managed to attack. Though afterwards I woke up.
Second I became lucid with a group of friends, but those friends were picking on me. They made me so mad that I said, "I have power over you, you know. I can make this dream vanish and kill you all in the process!" They didn't believe me. Then I focused in and the dream faded. Sure enough I woke up. To this day I wish I had seen the look on their faces. xD
I was paintballing in some large field during, what seemed to be, the winter months. Whilst running and shooting recklessly, my gun jammed and I instinctively instructed it to work again. It did so. From there I became lucid; however, I did relatively nothing because my vision, instantaneously, faded to black.
I was there, I randomly got the idea I was dreaming, it was so unclear I felt like I was dreaming that I was dreaming, but somehow I knew I was me and I was dreaming. The whole area around me was white, I'm staring at the Shadow Man, he's looking back at me. He was dressed like a pirate, a very detailed and scary futuristic pirate. His clothes were completely black, the most black could ever be, I could see the outline of his clothing. My eye sight was faded but I knew I could see him, direct in the eye. I try throwing a fireball at him, it didn't work.
My dream control is useless.
Later on, I woke up being very happy I had my very first lucid dream. :)
I'm sure I've had more in the distant past that I just don't remember, but my first real LD, meaning that I didn't get all excited and wake myself up, was a few weeks ago.
Interestingly enough, it was a dream within a dream. I stood in a supermarket parking lot late on a rainy night with no cars but my own (which I stood next to) in it. Walking to my car, I stopped, and out of the blue realized that I was dreaming (no RC, no dream signs, nothing).
I looked to the sky, felt the heavy rain hitting my face, and thought to myself "Why the fuck not?" I raised my right arm and took off to the sky almost exactly as Neo or Superman would. I know some people have problems flying, but for my first attempt, it was effortless. As I flew, I could feel the wind ripping through my hair and the rain beating upon my face. I watched buildings whir by at lightning speed. There was a point where I begun flying *extremely* fast, and my surroundings began fading to white, so I slowed down.
I flew around for another few minutes before the dream started to fade once more. I tried spinning in the sky (not realizing that spinning while flying doesn't work), but to no avail. I decided that if this dream was about to end anyway, I was going out with a bang, so I got fairly close to the ground, and did a flying backflip (picture what a plane would do if it were to do a backflip) into the ground and woke up.
'Twas quite amazing.
I was really young at the time possibly 6-8. I was in my garden at night. I realised I was asleep and dreaming, my mum was watching me by the back door smiling. Once realising I could do what I wanted, I flew up to the roof. I then went in the kitchen and noticed I was peeing from two areas on my body.
Mine was about 6 months ago. I was in a vacation dream where I was in the hotel but late to a meeting, but my luggage was missing (a very common scenario in my dreams) and I thought to myself, "jesus, this is just like one of my freaking dreams" and it just clicked.
For some reason I decided to test if I was dreaming by trying to fly. I'd never flown in my dreams (or at least not since I was a kid), but I tried jumping in the air. I came back down, but there was a slight hesitation at the top. So I jumped again, more confident that I was dreaming and I slowly floated back down. The third time's a charm and I zoomed up through the ceiling and into the high atmosphere.
I started doing flips and turns, feeling incredibly happy and free. After a minute of this I started trying to figure out how to land but things were getting hazy and I could feel the lucidity leaving. I tried to spin, but felt trapped and eventually things faded and I woke up.
Very amazing.
My first LD was prob in 3rd grade but all i remember is i became lucid because i realized i had already had this dream before

I don't know how I realised I was dreaming, I didn't know crap about RC's and such. Anyway, I used The Force to lift a table and woke up.

After that, my dream-life changed dramatically, and even in non-lucid dreams I don't feel completely like a passive observer the way I did when I was younger. In the past year, I've been gradually gaining a little more lucidity even in my other-worldly dreams, which is fun most of the time, but sometimes really disturbing.
EDIT: Ok, after some browsing I just realized that my understanding of the word "lucid" is incorrect, in the sense that "lucid" means "aware that you are dreaming". I tend to consider any dream in which I have a clear sense of self, physics, etc, as "lucid".
So actually my first lucid dream occurred a few months after the experience above. I woke up, got out of bed, and despite the fact that everything in my room looked spot-on, everything seemed unusually vivid and crisp, including the motion caused by moving my head, kind of like a super smooth frame rate. I realized that I was dreaming and was really excited, and the first thing I thought to do was go look in the mirror. I did, and marvelled at how cool it was to be looking at myself in a "virtual reality". But then my teeth started crumbling into powder, and I felt something akin to "pain" and woke up.
My first lucid experience happened at the beginning of this month.
At first my vision was filled with red static, then from the center an image started to unfold, until I could see my hand in front of me. I was back in my childhood home, and one thing I noticed was the lack of furniture (only a bed was in the room) and the floor was red concrete instead of white tile. I looked at my hands and did a few spins to maintain the dream while everyone was getting ready in the morning. I tried to go outside of the room, but none of the lights in the house were on, and I admit, I was a bit scared. Then my cousin woke me up when he opened the door to the bathroom.
I cant really remember, but the earliest ones i can remember are:
Flying over some jungle in a plane, crash landing and seeing a pink dinosaur (and more..).
Have you ever played Mario 64? Remember the staircase to the last boss where the stairs never stop? Imagine running up a hill just like that while being chased by a monkey with a chainsaw, to make it worse it was on a skateboard.
i was about 11-14 when these 2 happened, yes they are weird.
My first Lucid dream was when I was like . . . 8? I was walking around school when I realised I was dreaming, so I blew up a building. ;)
Mmmm my firstt one was like a couple years ago and i remember i lost a couple of my teeth in it and i was in a very bright playground
and then some girl came up and started talking to me
i didnt do anything except freak out when irealized i was dreaming haha so when i knew i was i was like "goodbyyye world" and everything turned white and i woke up
but my first one while trying was a nightmare and i realized my friends werent zombies so i got angry/confident and jumped at them and screamed "EXPLODE" and they kindaaaa...yeah exploded it was pretty gross hah but it was nice to conquer a nightmare

Actually, my first lucid dream was a few days ago when I dreamed about writing this VERY post in this site. I then started to teleport to other areas so fast and then I recognized I was dreaming. Then, I looked up about recognizing that you are in a dream in Google and I stumbled upon dreamviews.com!

My three earliest lucid dreams were all the same thing. I couldn't tell you when they occured because it was so long ago. But in each one, there's a city just inside the left of my field of view. Though insignificant, I remember it having white buildings. My main attention is the sky, which is white and cloudy for the most part, but there is a massive break in the clouds, and in that break is the blue sky and a large alarm clock that is transparent except for the round case, the numbers, the arms and the bells.
In each one, I think to myself, "I could wake up whenever I want to." The first two times, I wake myself up, but then I struggle with the third attempt. It eventually works, I think.
Well, the first one that I can remember was a couple of years ago (I have probabky had some before that, just can't remember them), and I was on the field at my school, and all of a sudden I relaized I was dreaming. Since I am lucky, and my lucids always last long, it was very vivid, and I remember having total control.

Not knowing what else to do and hating this dream, I ran into the hall and screamed WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP! over and over and well, that worked. :)
my first lucid i was dreaming i was in my room and i just felt this like presence over me like shift in focus so i knew i was lucid so i tried to summon a cheesburger but no luck i tried ot do anime stuff but no luck then i hear a noise like powertools or soemthing then i walked beside my bed when this black demonic thing came in jump on my bed and placed its hand on my head and i tried to look up but i couldnt see its face and then it ended
I don't really remember my first lucid.
I know I had a whole lot when I was younger, because I developed a technique to get myself out of lucid dreams that were going in a bad direction.
The earliest lucid experience I remember having was a werewolf DC telling me "you aren't getting out of this dream."
I was outside of my grandparents trailer, and it was night, and it scared the hell out of me.
Werewolves in general were pretty much the scariest things ever to me, at that age.
So, I freaked out, but instead of running, used that technique I had developed to wake myself up.
My very first Lucid Dream actually lasted a long time. Not to mention this was a long time before i actually knew anthing about this topic.
I was at my school which was my frist key that i was dreaming because i knew that it was a staurday. So my frirst reaction "holy crap im dreaming" So my first thought was, "i want to fly" and it just so happens that on my first try, it actually happened, although i found it rather difficult to keep control of my body as i flew through the air. Then i pretty much woke up, not exciting to describe but it was pretty amazing for me since i had never done anything remotely close to that befoe :D
My first lucid dream came around February-April 1994 (I was 7 going on 8) when I was introduced to two women, but their introductions came courtesy of kaleidoscopic patterns. One girl started talking and then the blue pattern faded away to show her. However, when the other one was revealed after seeing the pink pattern (this was like 13 years into the future, so that would be last year), I heard some really unpleasant sounds. It sounded like moaning in pain after being possessed by an evil spirit. Since then, I had called the girl under the pink pattern "Amanda" for quite a while.
Coincidentally in November 2007, I recently thought about this dream and that inspired me to create a character for one of my novels. The character's name is Amanda Lafferty. She's 23 (born April 16, 1985) and hails from Santa Barbara, California. She has sea blue eyes and blonde hair, stands 5'7", and she's one of the main characters in a novel I'm going to write over the summer. It's nice to know that you can get story character ideas just by dreaming. :)
My very first were when I was very young. Except they would turn into vivid nightmares where I would actually hallucinate when I was awake. I've searched many places to see what they actually were now that I am an adult, and they all point to schizophrenia, which I don't have.
Now, to lighten the mood after that lovely story, my first adult lucid was much, much better. I was in my house and running from some guy who was coming after me. I had purchase a gun to protect myself. I was packing to run away, and as I was searching the house to see what I missed, I started to notice weird thing I didn't own. Then the gun felt light and plastic, something I knew was not possible. I ended up confronting my pursuer into a matrix style showoff. The dream ended when I corner him and shot at him, only to find out guns don't work in dreams. I didn't want to kill him anyways. This dream is what lead me to find out about lucid dreams. I didn't even know you could have them until then.
My first LD was dumb and shortlived. I woke up in my bed and grabbed my ipod next to my bed and started listening to it. A few seconds later I was like "Wait a minute. I took this downstairs earlier". That's when i realized I was dreaming and woke up right then.
There was this evil spirit monster thing that could assume the form of any of my friends, family, or pets. I was in grade school, and it had cornered me and my friends into the gym, which started to flood. It grabbed me by the neck and shoved me underwater... Where I could breathe! I knew that it could only happen in a dream. I socked the monster a good one and after it was defeated I had a false awakening, where it returned, assuming the form of my cat.
And then I really woke up, and my cat was sitting in the same spot as the dream. I was wary for an hour or so before I definitively proclaimed I was awake.
i was in fourth grade. i know i was in fourth grade, because i was missing my old friends... i was on a city walk and there was a bunch of tar and i stepped in it... the guide said get out of there but i said no, i'm dreaming... the guide tried to pull me out but i switched dreams... the Sapphire Diamond.... i always wanted to do that again so when i saw it in a witch book later (RC method) i went psycho... didn't have another till sixth or seventh grade... WBTB
Well I got my first LD, (which I can remember) 2 weeks ago, it was a FA but it was very inaccurate, firstly it was the middle of the day and my English teacher was rummaging around the spare bed in my room :shock:, I decided to do the hand RC and I noticed I had 8 finger thus causing me to go lucid:D
Strangely enough I left that dream and partially woke up and had a DEILD, it was short too, basically the only thing that happened was I "woke" up in this large room with really reflective bulging metallic mirrors covering the inside :P I also think someone else was lying next to me, I tried to move but it turned out I wasn't in SP so as soon as I did move I went back to the real world :embarrassed: GAH...
I don't remember when my first LD was but I know it was years ago (9+ years, I was about 6 or 7) and there was a song out by a duo. I think one of them was Emma Bunton and in the video 2 of them were running around a house. This is relevant because my dream (WILD) was in the house however when I realised I was dreaming I started screaming to the extent where my mum came in and woke me up. I had a few others but all the same, they terrified me and I didn't get anymore till about last year, that was more interesting as I met the guy who invented soccer, went to his underground layer and felt up a naked asian chick. I then got excited and woke up. :(
I've been trying ever since with only miniscule results (although they were cool all the same).
My first LD was a nightmare when i was about 7. I was in my childminder's kitchen hiding under the table because two Baryonyx's were rumaging through the cupboards. I was scared but then i knew it was a dream. I instantly knew to burst out quickly from under the table and out through the patio doors and start flying. I knew i could do it =P after i was flying i continued to know it was a dream. I wanted to wake up however because the nightmare had left me shaken. so i made everything go white, then i tried opening my eyes in my dream then something clicked and it all went black. then i tried opening my eyes again and i was awake =P
My first LD was on purpose...at least the first I remember.
I was in school, in a hallway and the lockers were uncommonly close together. I was squeezing by people to get to class. Suddenly someone sticks a red siren with a suction cup on the bottom to a locker, and the siren goes off. For whatever reason, this is a bomb in the dream. I, along with everyone in the school, panic to get outside. I run out onto the sports fields, and as I'm running, I realize it's a dream...don't know where I got that from but it worked. Of course, I felt a huge thrill, and I immediately think of flying. I jumped and flew, no problem. I actually said "EUREKA! I'm dreaming!" because it seemed...appropriate. However I had a strange problem flying: I couldn't get into superman position; my legs kept drifting under and in front of me. Very odd. I gave up and created a mansion, with a beautiful outdoor pool patio. I went there, started relaxing in a hot tub and lost lucidity. After that, I don't remember what happened. I woke up laughing because the dream was so messed up...and because I had achieved lucidity. It truly is an amazing feeling.
mine happened when i was like 5 i was at a wedding and it was by the side of a freeway and i was like, no one gets married by a road, so i relized i was dreaming but was a stupid little kid and pinched myself and stuff untill i woke up :(
Waaahhh!!!!:damnit: I just realised that i can't remember when it actually started. That is so soooo sad:cry:
My first one was really ridiculous, but I'll tell you:
When I went to sleep I tried to have a lucid dream. I constantly told myself "I am XY (insert name here) and when I'm dreaming, I know that I'm dreaming!". I repeated it every 5 seconds.
Soon I really started dreaming, but managed to take the phrase with me, so I repeated it in my dream, when I suddenly thought: "Hey, what am I saying? Is this a dream?" It worked and I really became lucid. xD
First thing I did was getting very excited. I wanted to do so many things at once, like flying, but then I realised that in a dream you can eat everything without getting fat, so I teleported into a café instead and ate a big bar of chocolate! *lol* (this is a childhood dream! xD)
Next was going to the disco, but I was too quickly with all that stuff. My heartbeat rose so I woke up.
But it was cool. :D
