Thread: Lucid dream in a tropical paradise

I was having a dream where me, some of my real life friends, and some randoms where these heroes, fighting all these evil dudes with our unique abilitys.

I won't go into that, basically we where climbing this enormous rock cliff. This rock pillar was kinda like a huge over-sized tree trunk, without the tree on top, a big rough rock cylinder sticking out of a beautiful beach paradise.

While climbing it got scared of falling because every rock i put my hand on would break off.

My mates went on ahead, and then the big rock outcrop i was resting on gave out and i plummeted down. Next moment i was on top of the rock.

One of my friends mum was there, and this was the moment i realized it was dreaming.

I asked her, "Do you think i'm dreaming". I already knew i was though, just wanted to hear her reply.

She said "No i don't think your dreaming because i don't think im dreaming"

I laughed at her and hovered a couple foot above the ground.
"How about now?" i said, still laughing. Her eyes sorta widened in suprise but she didn't say anything.

I looked over the edge of the rock, and saw the shallow sparkling water far below.

I looked to my mates mom and said "What do you reckon, should i jump?"
She was like "No, its too far down".

I laughed and took a big run up and then leapt off, into a long swan dive towards the water. Despite knowing it was a dream, i was still nervous as to what would happen when i hit the bottom, my heart was nearly leaping out of my chest.

When i hit the water, i lost visuals and everything went black. I thought shit i lost the lucid dream, and i had only just started. Then i thought wait a minute, you know techniques for regaining visuals and your not awake yet right?

So i imagined myself floating out of the water that i had landed in. I could feel the water, feel myself floating first, and then a few seconds later a tropical paradise fades into life in front of my eyes.

I was estatic, i jumped into the sky then flew over to some grassy meadows that neighboured the beach.
I was swimming along about and inch above the grass, doing breaststroke, yet flying pretty fast. I remember laughing at myself for this.

I saw a bunch of people up in a fancy tropical resort, on the cliffs above.

I saw myself as a black and white cow in this next part, god only knows why....

I jumped high into the air, and then glided down and landed on the balcony of a rather shocked holidayer. I just laughed at him. (I tend to laugh at alot of things in my LD's)

Unfortunately here i woke up due to some external noise, which pissed me off hugely. I tried to go back to sleep to try again, but couldn't.

So i came here to write this. Some details are a little hazy because i didn't get and up and write straight away, but it ended up being long enough anyway.
