FA in a Lucid Dream

I guess we all have them at some point?

Well, it was weird. As soon as I began dreaming, I was lucid. So I decieded to levitate and float around, which I did for a while. Floated to my old college to say "Hey" to my old opera buddies. And then I had a false awakening: I was in bed, I could see my bedroom, it was dark, I could see my eyelids blinking, and I waved my hand in front of my face and did a reality check to make sure I was awake, and I WAS!

.....NOT! I realised only this morning when I awoke for real that said "bedroom" was my OLD bedroom from 2 years ago. :? Nasty trick. I even remember that my hand passed the reality test: crystal clear image, 4 fingers, 1 thumb....did what I asked it to. But it was all a false awakening. Thppppt!! I had a bunch of other crap dreams after that, but none were lucid, but a lot of other DV members were there! Weird. I spend WAAAAAAAY too much time here.

wow... the games one's mind can play... Mine hasnt quite gotten into the question reality on a regular basis mindset yet, but I'm working on it...

I wish I knew what a false awakening feels like, im sure I've had them before, but I didnt know i was sleeping!

Yeah, false awakenings are tricky things! It is always a good idea to perform multiple reality checks and sometimes all of them will fail!

Who else from DV was in your dream?

Yeah..The post I made up there I had a REALLY quick FA..Like I saw the colors start to flash in front of my face, And I heard someone (Me I'm pretty sure) say "Is this real?" And Those colors I saw turned into power rangers (go figure) and One kicked me,and It actually FELT like someone had shaken me While I was asleep...But than I was sucked right back into a dream..a normal foggy dream...I asked my brother who was sleeping up in the living room with me if He had shaken me,And He didnt...So I was in a Lucid dream for about 1/2 a second...I guess I got too excited or something... :(

I really want to experience this Amazing reality others have,But I dont want to force myself to get up late at night to do it...The way I did it was just wait till about 3:00 am in the morning to go to bed,and repeat to myself "I WILL have a dream and I WILL remember it" And it worked..for a second at least (PS that was my first time TRYING to get a lucid dream wish me luck :D )

yeah thats strange for all of your reality checks to fail. It must've been one of those super vivid dreams then. those are the best yet rare for me.
