Oh man I just had my first lucid dream ever and I can't believe just how incredible it was. It seemed to be halfway between wake-induced and dream induced, I'm not really sure which. So I slept all night and didn't have any dreams that I could really put my finger on or remember anything of, or control, and then I woke up at 10:30am, but I wasn't ready to get up yet. So I thought about the fact that I didn't do anything to try to induce one, so I tried the method I read about on here for a WILD, and it took me a good 45min or hour, but then all of a sudden I was laying there in my bed, trying to go to sleep, and I noticed that I was watching my little brother playing a video game while I was trying to sleep. That doesn't sound so weird, but I live by myself in a studio condo and he has a house in another town with a wife and a kid on the way, and also the video game was nothing I'd ever seen before. It even seemed to be kind of popping out of the screen in 3d too. That was the point I realized I was dreaming, so I lifted up my hands and looked closely. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, HOLY CRAP!! INSTANTLY I was in full control. My little brother disappeared and I immediately jumped right through my window. At first I fell and I hit the ground, and I felt it, though it didn't hurt, but then I stood back up (without having to actually lift myself up) and kinda just took off. I was flying like freaking superman, right away! Except I was just going straight and I saw a power line coming. I tried to dodge it but I slammed right into it, I felt that too, but it didn't hurt. I managed to get past it and it sprang back into place, and then I was cruising all over the city. The city was totally realistic, looked exactly like I know it looks, except from just about 20 feet up, and I figured out how to steer. It was kinda weird, at first I was kinda doing the superman thing, but then I realized I didn't have to, and I could be just flying almost standing up. I saw cars going by and people walking, and they all seemed totally oblivious to me, no stares or anything. At one point I talked to someone but I don't remember seeing them, and I was way too high to have been talking to someone on the ground. It was like there was someone there with me inside of me. I said "This is %&$ing incredible!" they were like "A beautiful day for it too!" I replied "Couldn't have picked a better day to fly." Pretty soon I had gotten out of the city and was flying up over a mountain and the ocean was in front of me. I live in Alaska, so it was just beautiful. All of a sudden I thought about the yearly task, and I was like "hmm, I wonder if I can get to space?" So I shoot straight up, just incredibly fast, the clouds are flying past me, I must have been going up at 1000mph at least. I got past the clouds and they were way below me, but it was still blue sky. The air started to feel very thin and I thought I was just about there, then all of a sudden I stop going up, and start falling. I fell just as fast as I was going up and I was trying my hardest to stop it. It was pretty scary actually, I fell all the way down and right before I hit the water I was just dreading what it was going to feel like (I hate cold water) and I hit it, but at the same time as I hit it I regained flight. I did go under the water, but when I started flying again I wasn't wet. Immediately after that, I woke up, and I jumped out of bed and said out loud "HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME!!" and jumped up to go write this thread. Then I realized that I could still feel myself touching the bed, and I wasn't really awake, so I had another funny thought. I thought "OK Amber is going to come through my door right now!" Amber is this really hot neighbor I have. So the door bursts open and theres a chick there, but it's not Amber. So I try to turn her into Amber, but it doesn't work. Still she's completely under my control and says exactly what I'm willing her to say, but as soon as I was about to fool around with her I woke up for real. I've had vivid dreams before, but NOTHING like this! It was like being a god, in complete control of everything. I'm going to try to LD every night from now on. Real life can't even compare. Oh, and that entire sequence from start to finish happened in about 10 or 15 mins real time, because I got back to sleep at maybe 11:15 and I woke up just before 11:30. In the dream it was more like 20-30 mins though, so the time actually expanded. Cheers all

Congrats on your first, you must be very proud Having the first LD is like seeing the world again for the first time, in richer detail. Keep it up. Oh, and you might want to edit your post to make it somewhat more readable. You know, paragraphs help us all out.
