      Dream locations

Okay, in my lucid dreams, I have this place where I sometimes go, sort of my Headquarters in Dream. It is just this nice, modest house in the middle of this lush forest, though I can change the location at will. Items that I have found in some of my dreams can be found here on shelves or in cabinets throughout the house. Some of these items are simply curiosities that I have seen in my dreams, and others are things that more represent large events in my dreams. The place also has many books. This place has also been in some of the regular dreams that I have had, and actually originated in just a normal dream.

I was just wondering if anyone else had a place like this; somewhere that they had in their lucid dreams that was kind of like their "home away from home" in the lucid world.

This sounds pretty cool. Having a consistent place like you described is kind of something I wanted to achieve in lucid dreaming. Kind of like my home in another plane of existence. Did it just happen or did you have to work for it?

Actually, it just happened first in some normal dreams, but it later became sort of a dream sign to me, and every time I saw it, I knew that I was dreaming and would become lucid. Those times I simply did not ommit the original dream environment for a new one, and kept the house because I thought that it was kind of cool. Now I usually don't have normal dreams with this place, and I have to work for it . Oh well, I guess that it gives me practice.

Can you really have re-occuring, static locations in lucid dreams? It doesn;t work like that for me. But it must be so fun.

Dude, that sounds awesome... Has anyone tried reading anything while lucid?
I imagine your subconscious could come up with some really awesome books.

Look up paradiso by BenDrummin58 on ld4all. That is supposed to help with creating you own dream location. I haven't got to trying it yet, but I will. It is a two week program. this is the link http://www.ld4all.com/forum/viewtopi...r=asc&&start=0

Wow! That sounds really cool. Unfortunately, no, I don't have anything like that (although I definitely would love to). Well... at least not anymore. I used to have dreams that happened in a different house to the one I was living in in real life, and in the dreams, that's where I lived. They weren't lucid though, so I'm not sure whether you would count that.

Anyway, I think I'll try to create my own dream location. Maybe I could have pets and everything lol.

I havn't attempted to read anything in my house, despite the large number of books there . However, whenever I have tried to read anything in other dreams (lucid or regular) I either have not been able to see the text, and have just got the jist of the message, or have not been able to read the book at all . I think that I will try and make this one of the things I work on in lucids.

What kind of items lay on the shelves? Unique ones that only exist in your dream world or in fiction, like a star wars hover bike to move through the forest?!

      Haha, Lucidville

Creating your own Lucid residence is an incredible breakthrough in Lucid Dreaming capabilities. But my case is similar to caz457. I have this house that reoccurs in my dreams. It occurs on quite a regular basis and I actually know my way around it. But I didn't create it on purpose.

I would love to live in a nice town. Have a little wooden cottage in the country with a hammock. Ahhh....I better get to work. Blue prints for house plans and decorations etc. Haha.
