Lucid Excercise
2 years ago when I first learned about lucid dreams I read about learning new skills and sharpening basic skills by practicing them during a lucid dream.
What I wish to examine with the help of those who are intersted in taking part in the experimentation, is the abilltiy to improve skills in real life through lucid dreams training.
What you need to do is, when having a lucid dream, to try and practice a certain skill that you would like to do better in real life and after 3-4 dreams of training that skill try it and write here if it has really been improved.
here is a list of possible skills to practice:
- running
- swimming
- climbing
- reading
- playing a musical instrument
- riding a bike\a horse
- driving
- shooting
- fighting
- painting
- love making ;)
Those are just some of the ideas i could think about, any other skills you would choose to practice are welcome. It is importent to remmember that you check any improvment in your skill or skills that you have practiced.
That's it, have fun and good luck :)

Drawing! That's what I'll try to practice.
I was wondering of a good way to do it. For example; You choose a picture you want to draw, draw it in real life, and then try to draw that same picture in the dream. After you've done it in about four dreams you try to draw it in real life again. With the gained experience from the dreams, and without looking at the real picture or old drawing, there should be a great difference afterwards...
Are there any other ways to see the difference in skills?

I too like the idea of practicing drawing in LDs. I think I'll do exactly what bolonese suggested: to draw something in waking life, then practice 4 or so times in LDs, then do it again in waking life and compare the two pics...
Give me a couple of weeks to work on this, okay?

Practising fighting must be fun.

Wouldn't it be far greater to let your mind inject some skills, like in the matrix?! That would be the easy way to improve certain skills!!:boogie: Then there would be a lot more time to multiply this method for a lot of skills..

I think I will practice shooting, I like shooting guns anyway.
