a rather boring one, but still

Yesterday I was reading some of the dreams in this forum, and startet thinking about LD's again..

And last night I actually had one. Not much happende though...
My LD was as follows:
I knew I was in a huge room, although everything was completely dark.
I knew I was dreaming, and thought to myself
"Yeah, that is so typically me.. I manage to get a LD, and it's just dark, and nothing else. Jeez.. I must be a LD moron"
But then I remembered having read in some of the posts on DreamViews that in an LD you can chose to change the light, so I screamed at the top of my lungs "liiiiiiiiight"
And what do you know, all of a suddone there was light.
I looked around and realized I was in some sort of enormous warehouse.
It had blank walls, white walls, and some sort of wooden flooring. And a few boxes on both sides of the wall.
Again, I wasn't much impressed with my LD, and though
"Nah, I can't be bothered. This is to god damn boring. I'll just wake up instead"

and so I did... damn damn damn.... I could have slapped myself. Why didn't I do anything else.. rather than just be annoyed about the start of the LD?

Next time I'll try to remember that I make the dream, and if I don't put an effort into it, it's gonna end up like last nights dream.. boring as hell...

But it still was a LD :)

This is less uncommon than you might think! I have had some problems with lucid adventures too one or two times: finally lucid and no clue what to do! I guess many people have had this problem, after finally attaining lucidity.

Usually in my lucid dreams I am already somewhere, because I am not lucid from the start, but realize I can be half way through the normal dream. I did however had some times that after flying and looking around I had no idea what to do next. It really kills lucidity, that's for sure!

Nowadays I have a list next to my bed with some information about lucidity and lucid dreams. Before I go to sleep I look through it very quickly. It's basically made up out of a couple smaller lists: one of possible RC's, one of ways to keep lucid or increasing it, one with places I want to visit and the last with things I want to do, while being lucid.

I could recommend the last one (or two in your case) for everyone, because it's 'usually' too late to surf the internet for the many possibilities of things to do in lucid dreams:roll::lol:.. Obviously you could off course go online in your lucid dream.. lol;), if there's one in any of the boxes in the warehouse you're talking about, that is!!!

I'll keep that in mind...
Mind you, I did have an LD last night too.. But I wasted the chance by arguing with a prick of a dream character, that didn't want to see things my way.. and it annoyed me so much I woke up several times, just to fall asleep and continue arguing, well aware that I was dreaming, but to annoyed to care ;)

Oh well, I'll get it next time. I'll just shoot the bugger :)
