Greetings journey companions! I hope you are all doing OK in your Lucid Dreaming enterprise. That said, I'm going to tell you about an LD experience I had. It occurred in one of those hot summer nights in which sleeping is rather difficult unless your bed is inside an industrial freezer. But, anyways, since normal rest was out of the question because of the temperature I figured I rather have an LD so I closed my eyes and, in my mind, I began to repeat the phrase : I'm going to have a LD this night, I don't remember how long I kept on repeating that phrase but, all of a sudden I was inside this huge outdoors cavernous structure which had been developed to accomodate what seemed to be an aquatic amusement park! It was dark because it was midnight (I never looked at my watch but I knew it was midnight) and the light of a beatiful full moon gave the place a silvery tonality.
The place was full of people from all ages, and everyone, not caring for the hour, were wearing their swimming suits. I was lucid from the first instance, so I looked at my body and, to my surprise, I was the only one wearing jeans, work boots and a light jacket! I wanted to take a swim, so I approached the center of this "outdoor cavern" and a huge pit opened before my eyes. Waterfalls went down into the pit, the most deep pit I have ever seen and people were simply jumping off of the cliff and diving into this pit! The confidence of all the divers encouraged me to take a dive on my own and so I did. I jumped off of the cliff and entered this dark oblivion that lied just in front of me... that's when I lost lucidity... because, once I was surrounded by this darkness, it felt like it was so easy to let go of my mind and merge myself into the void... an so I did.
I woke up the next morning incredibly relaxed and my whole family asked me how I managed to get some rest during that awfully hot summer night so I responded: Well, I went swimming...
