My First LD Aka How To Sound Like A N00b
So I finally had my first LD last nite. It started off non lucid and amazingly vivid at a party where I'd been smoking weed and it had seriously screwed with my brain, everything kept doing this weird bullet-time effect, it freaked me out a bit - I think it had to do with reading this thread before going to sleep http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic....der=asc&start=0
Anyway, somehow it led on to this big room with 3 VR machines in. For some reason me and my family were zooming around on flying power-boats (like you see at the beach). We all wanted to go on these VR machines but there were only 3 of them and 4 of us. I got the last one and my mom was disappointed so I offered to conjur one up for her (she was skeptical but didn't stop me). I seemed to know I was dreaming at this point but I wasn't lucid. I looked around the room for some reassurance it was a dream, saw someone completly out of place and became lucid. The dream wasn't as vivid as the part at the party but the sense of 'being there' was amazing. Anyway, I put my hands a few inches from my face and concentrated on making the VR machine appear really hard. I thought i'd failed cause I didn't 'feel' like anything had happened but when I moved my hands it was there. Sort of. It wasn't exactly right but it was close enough. Anyway, at this point I remembered the first thing I wanted to do when I became lucid was become Spider-Man. I ran round a corner expecting it to lead onto a rooftop at night. It didn't, all that was there were some glass doors leading onto a street. I wasn't going to be stopped an for some reason I decided to jump through the road (like I said, it was pretty low lucidity and I wasn't thinking completly normally). Things became really weird at this point, I came out the other side of the road in a big black void. I tried to make it into the spider-man scenario and managed to see a vague impression of my arms in the spidy costume but I started to hear this really weird noise like thousands of birds chirping angrily and it freaked me a bit. I woke up and tried to LD again but to no avail. Next time i think I'm gonna have to remember to shout things like 'Clarity Now' or try spinning or something. Either way, this was an awsome experience, I can't wait to get more lucidity and control over it :D
Anways, I want a muffin party now I'm in the club 8)
