atempts at the WILD technique!

YAY! :D i have never had a proper lucid dream before, :( but last night i was kind of getting somewhere! :D i was attempting a WILD but i wasnt trying too hard, and i just felt myself feeling tired in my body - my eyes were shut with being forced shut, and as i lay there relaxing but focusing on one thing, i saw random images and colours just like they said i would! i was so chuffed! but then my sister heavily opened my door and barged into my room loudly and it all went, :roll: but at least im getting somewhere! and later on in the night i woke up after a dream like i told myself to, and i wrote it down and went back to sleep, (what a strange dream that was!) i was coming down this escalator and i could see myself! but i was dissapointed that i didnt even realise that i was dreaming when i saw my own self with my own eyes! :(

i havent been so attentive in my dreams recently, but my recall is improving. i just keep falling asleep right on that moment in the WILD when i can feel my awareness going on to random things and not my body. then i wake up and its morning! but i think im getting somewhere :)

When you are laying there and begin feelings those vibrations do you eventually see the crazy hypnogocic imagery (I think thats what its called) Because I just remember being so enthralled by it and concentrated on it (in a very relaxed way) that my mind stayed pretty alert and eventually went into a lucid dream although its kinda blurry from imagery to dream. When you are feeling that paralysis and start seeing strange things, just try to concentrate on the crazy images or flashes you are seeing and dont let your mind fall asleep on ya girl! :wink: I know its alot harder than it sounds. Last night I tried again but just got too tired and decided to go to sleep instead.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about this until now! When I was laying there and I felt my concentration fading I thought about trying to repeat something over and over again so I very slowly sang the Hail Mary in my mind (I'm not really religious but I couldn't think of anything else at the time) and it really worked in keeping my concentration and I think the melody was some what hypnotic. Can't believe I forgot that its probably what took me into that LD...sheesh.
