Thread: Almost fighting Doppelganger ( Long read )

This was my 3rd lucid dream . Kinda creeped me out.
Yesterday, me and a friend had found his old N64. We also found his Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of time game and decided to play it. We selected this file to find out that he was on the Water temple. It's the area where you fight Dark link. Well he fought him, beat his ass and it was over with.
I came home, read about lucid dreaming then went to bed.
I was dreaming I was in my old backyard in Arizona ( I just moved a few weeks ago ) and suddenly I did a reality check and realised I was dreaming and RIGHT as I did that I was teleported to an area where it looked like an endless amount of shallow water everywhere and there was a very small island in the middle with a palm tree. I knew I was dreaming. I stayed calm because I knew if I got too excited the dream would end. Everything was very clear. It seemed very real. I walked foward slowly feeling the water go into my shoe. I walked onto the island and inspected it but nothing odd. I walked to the other side of the area and it was a door, just a door, with bars over it. I walked over to it, tried to open it but I couldn't. I looked down for a second and noiticed my reflection upon the water had vanished ( When we were playing the game, I noticed for the first time that when you walk onto the island and walk off again Link's reflection is gone )
I looked behind me and there, in front of the palm tree was a figure that was dark, with red eyes and looked exactly like me. I stared at it for a minute. Just stared at it. I finally started to walk foward towards it and was directly in it's face. I remember saying " hi " but it didn't do anything. I then said ( This was out of the blue ) " WASSSUUP. " And again it didn't do anything. I remember saying " I'm just gonna teleport outta here I guess, screw it. " I turned around started walking but then I heard footsteps that weren't mine. I turned around and the doppelganger had stepped off the island. I began to walk backwards and he walked backwards. I walked forward, he would walk foward. I asked him " What are you " and all he did was point at me. I was about to say something else when he just randomly said " You're going to have to die " and he started walking towards me. He was pretty far away though. I thought for about 2 seconds and had an idea. I didn't know if it was going to work, but I tried anyway. I put my hands at my side and said( I'm a huge Dragonball fan ) " Kaaaaa...meeee....haaa.....meee.." As I reached the second meee he was very close to me. I thrust out my hands and as soon as I did that everything went black and I found myself waking up in my own bed.
The amount of clarity in this dream and control it's just amazing to me...I mean I discovered LDING about 2 years ago and this is my 3rd one. My 1st one was a few months ago and my 2nd one was just 3-4 weeks ago. Both of them were short. I have no idea why this one was so realistic. When I woke up, I typed this out in my journal. I remembered everything as though it had just happened in real life. Simply one word...awesome.
Dreams are amazing.
