I am new to this.. is this lucid dreaming??

Ok, when i started first having these dreams,it was kinda weird cause i didnt know what was going on..

ok, i am falling asleep, and i have this funny feeling, its hard to explain, i fall asleep, but i can still see myself lying in my bed, with everything thats in my room, is in the dream. I know i am dreaming, but i can still hear my mum and that coming up stairs ... :? I cant seem to wake up though, but once i finally do, i go back into it around as soon as i close my eyes.. it seems like these will last around 20 mins.. well it seems like that anyway.

After a few times of having these, i have started adding stuff... like i have been lying on my stomach, in the dream and something keeps pulling at me, like them trying to pull me around.. if this wasnt a dream i would be scared, but i seem to know it is a dream, so i dont bother.. These last the same rough time and i can never wake from them either...

Can anyone help??

im only guessing but it might be related to sleep paralysis, or it might be an out of body experience but i am not sure about the second one there might be another thing trying to pull at you, when i had an astral projection last night there was another person who came next to me

what im guessing is your becoming to concious and your body is struggling to come awake, usually when something tries to wake you up or your body needs to get up, you will feel tugged or yanked out of the dream, but sometimes its just a nagging feeling.

it sounds like an astral projection to me. that is when your "spirit" leaves your body; if utilized correctly, it is said that you can travel the astral plains and see what other people are doing; once my friend claimed to have had an astral projection, and he said he saw me that night. he explained everything that i did with crisp details. exactly where i was what i was doing, etc. it was amazing

its when your in the early stages of sleep,not in REM periods and not in deep-sleep periods,i know a couple of insomniacs and they say they dont have deep-sleep periods,and if they actually get to bed they can hear everything thats going on outside their dream. for non-insomniacs like ourselves,we have brief periods of light sleep where we can hear things outside our dreams,but by the time its so noticable we wake up,we've either forgotton we heard it,or are in deep sleep mode for the night.

Sounds kinda scary that my spirit may be leaving my body..
Is is something bad that like? It sounds real scary..
This really happens when i am really tired, but i dont want to sleep.. This might be a bit of help..

Try to explore further.
