a couple months ago someone posted on passing through mirrors when your lucid. i think they said what was in front was behind (?). i was lucid last night and walked into a mirror. i went through but all i saw there was darkness. i didn't have a chance to turn around and look back because a voice called after me saying, "you're going the wrong way!" i stepped back and felt arms pulling me back, cradling me. i lost lucidity after that
That's kind of weird.. :shock:
Did that frighten you?
I'm going to have to add the mirror thing to my To Do list!
yes, it did scare me! i think that's why i so readily stepped back. the arms that held me were gentle and loving but i didn't actually see anyone there. i felt safe. i remember asking for help and guidance. it felt like praying, actually.
thats kind of freaky, probly scarry.
but, have you ever looked into a mirror during a dream, and see yourself doing something else than just standing there, in other words, not mocking your reflection like it would in reality.

Its probally the same as with limbo land( you replied aswell) , when you run into things or step trough something your not suppposed to you end up there, but I got really stuck in there, didnt freak out though.. I walked around cuz i been there b4.. not as long though

I still wana know what it would look like to be inside of a perfectly mirrored sphere...
Test wafers at work that dont have any chips on them are interesting, they are PERFECT mirrors as there is no reflection or refraction from the glass to the reflective surface... because its just the reflective surface the optical qualities are amazing.
A un deposited wafer is silver and reflects everything true to its original colors, I was moving wafers into another box and actually got entranced I stared at it for a good while, and the freaky part was that it looked like it began to ripple like its surface was water that creeped me out and shook me out of the thrall. Deposited wafers can range from radial rainbows greys to greens to deep blues, I have one that could be used a s a scrying mirror.
Other things on mirrors...
Ever look at yourself in a mirror while Tripping on mushrooms? Thats... weird.
Or when you are totaly smashed drunk? I dont like that, heh usualy what ends my drinking... looking at the reflection that is supposed to be you but its not, but its odd how you realise that its not you? am i nuts or has anyone else noticed this?

When i think mirrors, I always think Alice In Wonderland. Hehe. I have had two lucid mirror experiences. My first was about a month or so ago. I was at some house with a bunch of relatives and I passed by a bathroom and realized there was a mirror there. I looked in it and I was not shaved. But I remembered that i had just shaved the day before. Looked in it again, still not shaved. Felt my face - no it's smoothe as a baby's bottom. Looked again - shaved! Yay, I'm dreaming! The other one came about a week and a half ago after I'd been reading a prior mirror post here. I was relatively lucid already and saw a full body mirror. So I went to look in it. Nothing. No reflection at all. Wondered for half a second if I was a vampire, then tried to go through it. I fully believed I could too. But when i tried, it was solid and no part of me would pass through it. So I got a friend and told her to try something with me. We put our hand flat against the mirror and closed our eyes. When we opened our eyes, we were in a completely different place. It was a portal to some other room in some other part of dreamland! Yay! That was really fun. :D
when i have looked at a mirror smashed effin' drunk :barf: , i think it is strange, my mind kinda thinks MYSELF is odd looking, goofy, i appear somewhat different...i dont, but when i intake some amount of alcohol i appear really red in the face, that might contribute to something, perhaps the goofy look.
