      Clairity...

You were in my dream last night! I think you were trying to help me become lucid too.

So I found myself in this room with a giant swimming pool. It was a lot bigger than any pool I've ever seen, and it was somewhat strange too. There was this platform far above the middle of the pool, not too far from the ceiling, maybe 10 feet from it. The platform was suspended by ropes. There were 2 ropes parallel to eachother about 3 inches apart supporting each side, so like 4 ropes horizontal and 4 ropes ..horizontal the other way, but in sets of 2. The way that you got to the platform was by walking along the ropes.

Anyways, at this pool were me, my best friend Luke, another guy I don't know, my first girlfriend from high school, Robyn (who was by far my best GF ever and I miss really a lot), and, well, you. Obviously I don't know what you look like IRL, but it was you as your avatar, with the ribbon and all.

We were all basically just swimming around, having a good time, and I was still together with Robyn, so we would swim together and kissed a couple times and stuff. At one point you said "Hey, watch this." and you went up to the platform above. Except there wasn't a ladder or anything to get up, so you like just went up there, I'm not really sure how. That should have been a sign, but didn't faze me. Then you dove off and came up right next to me, and you said something but I don't remember what.

Then Robyn, Luke, and the other guy all disappeared, and they were in the changing room. I never saw it but I knew thats where they went. So then you started swimming like a dolphin, using both feet together like a tail. You said "try like this, its a lot faster" so I did. Sure enough I was just blasting through the water, it felt like I was going like 25mph. Luke and Robyn came out all dry and partially clothed, and I said "watch this guys! I can go way faster!" I'm not sure what the response was, but I think it was along the lines of "of course you can, theres a lot you can do but just don't know it." I was definitely swimming faster than really possible, I would have taken all of Michael Phelps' medals no problem. Also should have been a sign.

So then you came up to me and said something like "I'm going to show you something, and I want you to just go with it, it'll be OK." Then you jumped up on my shoulders and pushed me under the water. I tried to stand up with you on my shoulders, since it was in a part of the pool that was shallow enough to stand, but I couldn't. I had breathed out as it happened because I didn't know what you were doing, so I started to run out of air. I could faintly hear you saying "just go with it" but I never realized I was dreaming so I didn't try to breathe. Then I panicked and I woke up. As soon as I woke I took a huge breath and then I realized it was a dream and you were trying to force me to do a RC and breathe underwater.

I was so disappointed in myself because I was trying to LD all night and that would have been it. I got up, took a little drink of some caffeinated drink I had in the fridge, and went back to bed. I laid flat on my back because I remembered reading in your method to use a different position than normal, and normally I always sleep on my side. I tried for about another hour to get back into it, but every time I started to see something happen, lights, shapes, or scenes, they were very dim, and then my arm or leg or something would twitch involuntarily and it would snap me out of it. Then as I was getting closer, my neighbor upstairs started moving around and stomping all over and moving stuff. He is just so noisy, it's like he wears heavy boots in the house and hikes around the apartment. I can't really complain because it was like 11am and most people are awake by then though. Maybe I'll try getting some earplugs and see if that helps. Anyways, I appreciate trying to help, even if you weren't aware of it. Thanks

Well, I was either trying to get you to do a RC or drown you! I'm pretty sure it was the RC tho!

That is so cool that I was in your dream (well my avatar was anyway). I'm not one that many members have in their dreams so I am very flattered and happy to have been there.

Hopefully I'll show up again in your dreams.. and next time you'll know why I'm there and become lucid!

PS.. there is a thread called "Post your DV Member Dreams".. you should definately post this dream there: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=21750

Sounds like an enlightening dream. Try to take more control over your emotions in situations such as those. Of course without practice with RC's you can't be expected to always question certain situations. In my case i def would have noticed that there was no way onto the platform. Develop habits in your real life of questioning everything. The other day a bird was hopping around my car while i was sitting in it eating. I knew i wasn't dreaming, but the more and more i thought about how the bird didn't flinch at my movements. Made me question his existence so much that i actually did a RC right there

Cool dream. It sounds like you had lucid dreaming and DV on your mind. That's a good sign that your prospective memory is strong enough to bring your intentions from waking life into your dreams. If only you would have remembered Clairity's WILD tutorial while in the dream. Maybe it would have reminded you to become lucid.
