I flew!!

Now, I have been uncertain if I had ever been able to MAKE MYSELF fly on command during a lucid dream. It may have happened before, but I really don't remember. There have been instances where I realized I was dreaming once I was already flying.

Nearly all my lucid dreams I take advantage of in a sexual manner. However, last night I realized I was dreaming and I decided instead of going for some sexual stuff, I'd attempt to fly. And with no problem I shot straight up and had a view of everything from above. I could fly around (sorta like swimming). Now, I could have a better view and faster travel so I can find somebody to do some sexual stuff with. haha. :banana:

I think it was me discussing with people (and on here) about how most of my lucid dreams I don't have any super powers, and once I realize I am dreaming the laws of physics apply. I guess not always. Wee.

That sounds exhilirating. Congratulations on breaking through your super-power block. Now you just need to watch out for the man in the Horn Rimmed Glasses...

So lucky!!! I have been having a really hard time flying. This morning I had a couple of back to back lds and I failed to fly every time. I managed to jump high but no luck otherwise. You have no idea how annoying it is having to climb a roof in a dream!!:embarrassed:

I don't know if you tried this in your dream, but for me if I just don't straight up fly as soon as I leave the ground, sometimes I can preform a double jump and the second jump in the air I will start to fly. You could try that.

Yay! :boogie: Flying gets easier and easier each time you do it. Some it'll be second nature to you. Hopefully you'll find that using lucid dreams as a sexual playground isn't a fun as using them as an exploration chance.

reminds me of that one Dane Cook routine....lol

I don't know why, but I almost always use flying as my mode of transportation in dreams. It just comes natural I guess. :) And it's faster. But then I've been practicing lucid dreaming since I was 15 and flying was one of the first things I tried.
It is kind of like swimming. Sometimes I jump off of things to get going. And sometimes I just make swimming motions with my hands when I'm on the ground and I will float up.

I flew right from day one, so I've never had many problems with it and
especially not anymore at all. I can usually do whatever I want, but I
learned all of it from years and years of LDing before I figured out I could
have real honest to God sex in them. (with all the trimmings, and end results!)
The lure of LD sex for me now is that I can do things I'd never do in real life! :lol:
It's a very hard thing to stay away from in LDs, It's almost like a drug,
an addiction! :lol:
