Thread: Best LD by far I've ever had!

I was just about to complain that my Lucid's always seemed really short, blurry and when I looked at things it was like they weren't really there somehow (I know they're not anyway cos it's a dream, but you know what I mean!). This morning however I had the best lucid dream I've ever had!

I actually had two in a row, the first one was more vivid than usual, but quite short. I remember climbing down my house like Spiderman! I was too scared to fly down in case I fell. That was about it for that dream.

Anyway so I woke-up from that dream and went back to sleep with this repeated over and over in my head "I will realise I'm dreaming and remember it all", I usually do this but it usually doesn't have any effect.

So then I'm in a dream, in the field that's next to my house and with someone else (can't remember who) and these people are chasing us. We see this castle type place and run to it but the people are still coming for us and the door is locked. Then some bloke I know in real-life was there and he said "the door can be open if you want it to be", and that's when I realised I was dreaming.

I don't wanna bore you with the whole dream, so I'll just get across the main bits. I wasn't totally lucid at some points because I was still going along with the story of it -running away from people and trying to shoot them-I couldn't make a gun appear tho!

Then I flew around a bit and it was really amazing scenery and really vivid and I spotted a clump of massive bright orange mushrooms! I've never taken magic mushrooms in RL, but I assumed that these would be magic seeing as they were huge and bright orange! So I ate one and I thought it tasted nice to start with but then it was really sweet (not in a good way) and mushy. I ate a whole one. Then this old man who was there chuckled and said "you'd have to eat at least three to have any effect", I didn't think I'd have time to eat three. Then the man showed me (we flew to it) a magic fountain that'd have the same effect, I think I drank it but nothing happened.

Then I looked outside and there was the most amazing view of hills and what looked like the palace at Disneyland. I was thinking to myself "Just when I was going to complain on "DreamViews" that my lucid dreams aren't vivid, I have this one!"

Then I thought I woke-up and was telling my mum about the dream, but then I woke-up for real! I checked my clock and I'm not sure exactly how long I was asleep for, but I'd say the dream was between 30mins and 1hr! My usual ones are about 5-10 mins if I'm lucky!

So I just had to write about it here, it was really great, I probably wasn't fully "conscious" though because I was still going along with the dream, but I think if id've tried to control everything like usually I do, I would've woken-up sooner.

So that's it, my best lucid yet! Just when I was about to give-up, thinking all of my lucid's were short and rubbish!
