Another Lucid! W00T!!!
Yes, so my dry spell is broken! I had another lucid just 4 days after my 7th. I tried counting the fingers on my hands (hand RC), and realized that I couldn't pinky is there, ring is there, as I went to the middle, another one appeared between my ring and middle. As I counted that one, my middle disappeared, and two more fingers appeared past my thumb. At that point something was wrong. I did 2 nose RCs, stretchy hand RC, and pinch RC. All were a success. Sadly though, no control came to me, as I was still being guided by the dream :(. Any tips to gain a little control :)?

This is something what I sometimes would do. As you go along in the dream, and something happens, like say something was going to bite you, or hurt someone, but you didn't want it to do that, make a thought to yourself, and have that thought change what it was going to do.
Do you get what I mean? Sometimes, I would do that when I was in that situation. Like in nightmares, when I was really scared, for some odd reason, I would slow the time down so the monster couldn't actually get to me in time. I was still non-lucid, but it was my thoughts that could change the course of the dream.

Yes, that is called a DILD, where you perform a reality check and enter a pre-lucid dream. That is one of (if not, the) most common technique used.

Yea, but there's been times where I was non-lucid but my thoughts would still change the course. Like, I didn't know it was a dream, and if I didn't like something while I was dreaming, it would start to change a little.
Anyway, I'm just saying maybe next time just use your thoughts and it could change. Try using it on simple things while being dragged along in a dream.

That's subconcious lucidity.

Also, by control I mean I couldn't change the environment. I could control my own actions.

Well, then... I've always had a subconscious lucid in my dreams then? That sounds weird... You didn't mention any environment in the beginning of your post xP.
I read this somewhere, and I had an experience in a lucid. Find a door in your dream, or have one pop out of the middle of no where. Tell yourself, or use your thoughts until you finally have a good description on what that environment should look like. Open the door, and see if that would work. In my experience, it was when I was walking down a path, that was meadowy, and it had bends/hills. I wanted to see a creature really badly, so before I looked into the other area, I kept telling myself on what was suppose to be in that area. It did work for me. So, maybe it could work for you. Though, I read somewhere that it is really hard to change an environment right then and there.

No, there are certain levels of lucidity. Your level of conciousness that only comes with practice affects lucidity. I wasn't aware enough to take the time and control what I needed to do.
