4 in a row
i've "suffered" from sleep paralysis for about 5 years now and found it a terrifying experience until i found this site.
after reading about lucid dreams and the fact i have sp and can turn that into my advantage i used the tips given from so many of you. at first i had a few false awakenings but one saturday morning was a different story.
i fell into sp and found myself trying to get up, it felt like my body was made of concrete and i could hardly move but as i got upright i held my nose and found i could breath. i continued to walk out my house and told myself i wanted to see a ferrari(something small and not too exciting to start me off lol) i looked across to one of my neighbours drive and saw a blue estate car with a ferrari badge, not perfect but it was a start!
i then awoke to find myself in sp again and this time i walked out the same direction as in my 1st ld. i decided now was the time to try flying but found it difficult. i tried several times until i took off up in the air but found i couldnt fly but just jump really high and fast! as i came hurtling towards the ground i woke. my heart was beating really fast and i was so excited that i'd managed flying! well almost!
i closed my eyes again and this time had myself playing for the football(soccer) team i support. i scored the winning goal and done a lap of honour. fans where screaming with delight and the noise was intense, as i awoke i still had the crowd in my ear yet i was in my quiet little bedroom once again i was in floods of sweat(sorry, i know thats not nice!) with the excitement!
last thing i wanted to try was breathing underwater, this was probably the least exciting of my experiences. as i stepped out my front door the ocean was right in front of me so i went for a swim, i then went underwater but it was like i was in a massive swimming pool with a huge maze made of lego bricks!?
this was a few months ago now and anytime i try and "get up" from sp i find myself far too heavy and can barely sit up let alone get out of bed.
it was a fun experience but tbh, i just haven't had the time to properly try it again! if only i could effortlessly achieve it!
