      Forced a WILD

      I tried to go into WILD by force. It was 5 o clock evening. I imitated darkness at my room with blanket on windows. Then I sat behind desk and laid my hands on it and my head on hands. I started to think about lucid dreaming. I remember all the steps witch one I call Thought-Chain:

      a) lucid dreaming
      b) lucid...
      c) it is somewhat similar with name Lucy
      d) Lucy is a beautiful girl

      these where the chains I repeated over and over again. I think it took me about 10 minutes. Then suddenly I was near highway road and saw girl. I said hello to her and she replayed. She said that her name is Lucy... Then I understood I had somewhat Semi-Lucid, or perhaps real Lucid. I stood at one place and tried hard just to stop everything and not to wake up. Then I lost this state. But it is incredible to wake immediately after Lucid dream, because real lucid dream is as clear and bright (or even more bright) as real life. Incredible experience...

      You don't always dream in REM. It is possible to dream during other sleep stages.

      i also, as I work with UNIX systems, I have a script witch one regulary asks ... are you dreaming?.... just a bash script. I have had lucid dreams where I have this hologram system console asking same thing... then I realize its a dream, cous I have some shitty old monitor in real life... and hence become lucid.

      Script itself is(save it as "reality"):

      #!/bin/bash
      echo -n "Are you dreaming now? (y/n)"
      read ans
      [ $ans == "y" ] && echo "You can go lucid now..." && sleep 2 && exit 0 || echo "Okay. I ask you again soon!"

      The most simple way to use this script however is just put it to /usr/local/bin

      And make sure you make it executable: chmod +x reality

      now each time you type into console "reality" a question will appear....

      You can also use cron to check it on console, but currently it only echos to terminal:

      Then setup it into cron....
      #checks reality every 5 minutes
      5 * * * * reality > /dev/pts/0

      The output in this is an example, you can determine your own console output with:
      # ls -l /proc/$$/fd

      don't wanna make this into a 'The Lounge' topic but, 'chmod +x filename'
