      Best Dream I've had yet!

WEEEE!!!! A LUCID DREAM!!! This has had to have been one of the most exciting dreams I've had yet! It all started when I was running down this steep hill and got careless while doing so, so I fell. When I fall in a dream I always get this tingly feeling that wakes me up, but this was a very short tingle because it was more like i tripped. I had baaaarely woken up when i realized "hey, i was dreaming". I was on that edge between sleep and being awake, but i wanted to go back so badly because I realized I could become lucid, and I still felt a connection with the dream. So I kept my eyes closed and concentrated on the dream again, and the rest is history, I was back in the dream, and more lucid than I had ever been before!!
I felt like I had full conciousness, as if I were here in the real world It was the most incredible experience. The setting: It was overcast, the sky was completely gray. I was with a few of my friends and we were walking across a perfectly smooth paved ground (like the pavement you find in a skatepark). Basically, everything had a gray-touch to it as far as the environment goes. The only thing we could see was far out in the distance, and it turned out to be a school. Dang, I remember my first jump off the ground! I tried to fly right away, but I eneded up in this jump that resembled a man on the moon. I think I went like 3 stories high! I wish I could describe the feeling. It was so exilerating, I kept jumping high into the air over and over and over again. The closest thing I was able to get to flying with, was a hover.
I jumped up, and while i was in the air I got into a sitting position, you know, crossing your legs, meditating style. I could basically float around this way, heheheh. And now that I think about it, this hovering part of the dream reminds me of another dream I had, where I got into the same sitting position. The only difference is that I DID fly in that one (I was not lucid) and the whole setting was blue instead of grey, with tall, black, castle-like builtings in the backround (instead of a school). I wonder why the dream I had just last night then was so similar to the one from about a year or two ago?
Anyways, after I kept jumping and flipping around in the air, we got to the school. I saw a tree and walked up to it. What I wanted to do was push it over to test out what I was capable of, so I pushed, and I tried to think of it falling, but nothing happened. There's a reeeally interesting part here. You all remember that part from the Matrix where the little kid says "there is no spoon" right? Well, I thought the same thing, only this time with a tree. The funny thing is that I tapped the tree and the whole thing crackled and thundered as it crashed to the ground. The reality was that there trully wasn't a tree, and all I had to do was realize it! After all, it is in my mind, so how could it exist? I tried to perform this on something else, but I forgot to think of the "there is no spoon" saying, so I guess I couldn't always have my way, psh.
All-in-all, this was the most incredible feeling I've had in a dream before, and I wouldnt trade the feeling for anything. My brain felt really tired after I woke up from the lucid though. Is that why you can only lucid once per night if your good? *shrug* All I know is that I woke up with this euphoric feeling, and for the first time this week, I didnt feel depressed! YES!!! No more negetive feelings for me, for a while. I cant wait to go back to the dream world and attempt at my 3rd lucid dream. YAAAAY!!!!

Congrats! Superior Urken dream technology prevails again!

I know what you mean about the lift LDs can give you--they're very empowering, and just plain fun. Do watch out for depending on LDs for that lift, tho. Try to apply what you learn in dreams to waking life--your mind was taking you for a ride, but you figured out what was going on and had a hella good time. Guess what? Your mind does the same thing at least half a dozen times a day while your awake, and the same idea applies.

      Dream on, yo.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Honestly, I hate falling into the half awake half dreaming state cause I can NEVER manage to get back into the dream...Its like this lucid dream I had a few nights ago. I did a reality check, found out I was dreaming and could t re open my eyes in the dream or else I would wake up... and I eventually did...
God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...

That's awesome! Your dream was kind of like my 1st lucid...except that mine ended after my first jump. That was the best feeling in the world. . .

hmm.... maybe, sice you (The Guardians) caouldnt open your eyes, maybe you can try to envision the dream and see the dream THROUGH your eyelids, if you know what i mean. like, picture the scene in your head....
