Hi guys I've read a lot here and a lot of people say trying know stuff that you forgot about the past is a bad idea why so?
For example some people said putting an video casette named old memories in the VCR is a bad idea.
Could you talk about the expriences you got from it?... or even try it out... Or explain why it is a bad/good idea.

I haven't ever heard that this is a bad idea. I've actually hear people talk about doing it to remeber things such as the name of a childhood friend or where they left their cellphone!
I imagine that this might bring up some nasty stuff if you've had a difficult life. It is also possible that you could end up dreaming about "memories" that are all just made up by your dreaming mind.
However, if you are prepared to deal with some fears and perhaps some past experiences, and to treat it all as a dream then you shouldn't have any problems.
I'd like to note it's somewhat hard to get technology working properly in dreams as well. Takes quite a bit of control. However sometimes as a fluke stuff will work as it should.
I guess it depends on how easy it is for you to get nostalgic, and if you tend to get depressed if you think about your past. I for one would probably avoid this, but if you can think about how much you miss (or don't miss) your past and be cool, then why not?
And another of my biggest issues with it would be trusting the dream memories of things I'd forgotten. I'm not sure how accurate they'd be.

I don't see why remembering your past would be a bad idea, unless you were abused, or something like that.
I have some good memories from my past. Even remembering when my children were little, brings a little smile to my face.
I have dreams about being a child, and it's not bad at all.
I guess it all depends on what your past is like.
If you were abused or witnessed a lot of violence it might be unpleasant to re-visit your past. However, if a person is ready, I think LDs might give an opertunity for emotional closure that the could never otherwise have, even if their past was pretty crappy.Quote:

Oh okay thanks about the "28" and sorry if I'am annoying/disrespectful. Well anyways I guess thank god I haven't had any bad expriences in my past lives that I wouldn't want o visit. Well if I ever get Lucid I will try to do it sometime.
