      Smile My 1st WILD!!!!!!!!

      Yay!

So I was at my works christmas party yesterday. Drunk a lot of Vodka and Red bull. Woke up around 4am this morning with the red bull buzz. Sat there for a bit lost in thought. Noticed it was 5am and decided to try and MILD.
Tossed and turned for about an hour. Just couldn't stay still.
Finally I rolled over so I was face down and rather than run with the Mantra decided to try hard to just empty my mind of noise...

...next thing I know I'm listening to a country music band. They sound like they're in the room. I'm laughing inside at the corny lyrics. I remember a thread and think, If I just stand up now I will probably be in a dream.

I try to sit up, but can't. I'm kind of conscious of my body again and feel the wave/vibrations buzzing through me. Then I feel like I'm sitting up, which is impossible as my spine is bending backwards. Then I feel as if I am drifting out of my body up into the air. I imagine I'm floating through the ceiling.

I'm looking about. I'm completely disembodied. Its dark like space. Theres some lights and things. Pretty cool.

Then I'm watching a scene. It seems lifeless and flat and off to one side of me. Its a building scrolling past, like you might see if you fall of a high rise block of flats. It just keeps going and going.

I want to ground myself so reach out to touch the wall as it passes. When I do I can feel the bumbs. Everything gets "real" around me. A dream solidifies around me. The wall is coloured and solid. I'm standing in a dream!!!!!!!!!!! So of I go into a lucid dream.
      It lasts about 1/2 hour.

A completely accidental WILD. But truly amazing.

      Thanks guys.

I had another WILD attempt this morning after waking about 3.30am. Got up, had a drink. Back to bed. Just concentrated on staying still, and emptying my mind.

There was no transition this time like before (not that I noticed). Suddenly I just found myself standing in a room and lucid. I was so excited at (seemingly) having done it again that it only lasted a couple of minutes.

So what do you think. Does this count as another WILD?

I knew I was dreaming. I did wander outside a little bit, but didn't get very far. Then I woke up. I rolled over and had a non-lucid.

I'll add it to my sig!

In both cases there does seem to be periods of time in the transition that I can't account for.
I've read that WILDS can be like that. We do ultimately need to fall asleep. The trick is catching youself on the flipside. Does this sound about right?

well so far I've had only one "full" WILD where at one moment I was lying there trying to WILD and the next it was as if I was in a cinema experiencing HI and then the WILD itself- though it could be different for diff people.
