need advice or input

hi im new this is my second post, ive had about 10 lucid dreams over the years and the harder i try the harder it gets, ive done techniques even the ones on here, i only get lucid when i least expect it out of the blue, i also have a hard time making it last because i get scared but i shouldnt because its just a dream, i was also wondering how you can communicate or get into other peoples dreams, i have also tried to find my sleeping body when i was lucid but it didnt work i gues that would have been a out of body experience?? im not sure what to make of this, i posted this in the newbies section too but didnt get any advice, any input would be helpful

its a good thing that you have been lucid before and remembered it. keep a dream diary so you can remember any other dreams - and you will remember more as you write it down. Ask yourself 'did i know that i was dreaming?' if the answer is yes, try to develop your level of lucidity so that you can control what happens in your dream. if the answer was no, just keep questioning reality - try to really believe that you could be dreaming when you think of it, and test it out (search for 'reality checks' if you are unsure on how to do this.) good luck, and remeber it takes a long time to be able to have a LD at will, so dont try too hard, just let it happen. :D 8) good luck xxxx

Hey there, welcome to DV...it's so funny that I came upon your post just now because I'm listening to "Sleep" by Dandy Warhols, do you know the one I'm talking about? "If I coud sleep forever", anyway...just thought that was weird with your screenname and all haha. Anyway, I'm alot like you. I just started having lucids out of nowhere, no reality checks or induction techniques...I would take a nap and just have some lucids. So I went searching for more information on what the heck was going on and I found this wonderful place. Now I have learned to have a large amount of control over how and when I LD...and I'm trying to OBE...and I think I'm halfway there. Don't let yourself get scared or too excited when you are lucid b/c that usually will bring you out of it. Anyway, there's lots of helpful info and people on here, take your time looking around...and happy dreaming.
