Thread: amazing long lucid dream this morning

Hey this is my first post here, I have been able to lucid dream for a few years now, i have been keeping dream diarys, but last nights lucid dream was SO vivid i wanted to share it.


I was in a park with my family, lots of other people were there. It was a very steep hill, beautiful and warm. I walked around over the hill and the other side was covered in snow, I slipped down, I remember thinking how cold it was. I kept falling and then I was thinking about how I would land and what I thought came true – this was the moment of realisation – I knew I was in a dream and I could change my surroundings. I land in water, its still snowy, like thick snow water, it moving very fast and im am on top of it riding along, a polar bear is there too. I am thinking i am very cold though and I start to lift up and fly above, right above the earth, I can look down and see beautiful blue see and green land. I am aware of my body, I look at my hands, my arms, and how I am flying.

Im not sure if I wake here – things changes drastically, next thing I know I am in a remote town somewhere, I am still aware it’s still a dream, im looking at my surroundings, lots of hills, green grass, its warm, lots of people around but I know its not a city, its almost as if it’s a secret town way out.

I am lying in my bed (in this town) I am still aware that I am in a dream world. I reach for a pen and start walking to the next room. Its very difficult to walk, its like I am very drunk, my feet feel like they are stuck to the ground and when I walk I have to hold the walls to stay up straight. I start writing how I am feeling on my arm (thinking that when I woke up it would be there) I find my sister and I tell her what’s happening.

I find something to try and read (I have heard that in dreams you won’t read the same sentence twice) so I carefully try and read a line. Then I go back and try and read it again. Its very difficult, I think it is the same however. I go outside and sketch the landscape on my arm and I ask a girl on the road where I am. She says Dakota (im not sure where that is but I know its somewhere in USA).

After this I loose the lucid dream and it turns scary and I am unable to control it and I eventually wake up.
