Cool Dream Transitions

I was just adding the latest chapter to my DJ when I realized my last 2 lucid experiences had some cool transitions between the non-lucid part and the lucid (so far I only managed to DILD). I also recall another transition between 2 non-lucids that was far more interesting than your regular fade out\fade in kind of thing, where you're never really sure how one dream ended and the other began.

On one dream I passed out from a drug injected by a ring and then came around lucid.
On the other I was going to a building's top floor on an elevator and the door opened to my old highschool's main yard and I was lucid.

I was wondering how that works for other people.
