      lucid fights, that you lost

      hey everyone

i wanna hear not about the fights that you won, but the fights you ran from or totally got ur ass handed to you.

i consider my self, somewhat the dream warrior, i have only ever fleed from about 3 battles in my life/dream life.

      here they are

the first one that comes to mind, i was standing in the middle of a street yelling and screaming my head off, in the distance i see a man in a white robe, i tried sending forth a blast of sound to hurt/kill him, nothing happened at all, he then started channeling, some sorta strange sound him self, it was like two peices of metal banging againest eachother, it got louder and louder till the point i was like, what the fuck is happening whats gonna fucken happen! i used all the energy i had to fly away like a rocket.

the second time was yrs later, when i first encountered the infamous cloaked shadow beings, i lost this won aswell but never again against them.

the third time, i was chazed by about 100 or more shadow beings, i might be a tough bastard in my lucid dreams, but its pretty hard taking on more then 100 spirits/bad dc's im telling ya!

yeah so, i wanna hear about your loses not your wins... hehe

I definately lost my battle last week... I was fighting this evil guy named Leroy, and he had some awesome martial arts moves that were impossible for me to withstand. I tried to summon fire (since I'd learned earlier in the dream that his parents burned him alive) but failed epically. I eventually was forced to flee, because I had no desire to suffer more pain from his brutal attacks. (Next goal: find Leroy and get him to teach me some of those moves!)

Lets see, around 4 times vs Nerimeno, once vs the duck, twice vs Walms, once with Xildron when he escapped after attacking and using me to use DC... And that time with the guy who was good at hand-to-hand, that time with the mage, the time with the werewolf in the subway, with the demonic elf and that ghost bull, two times with fear, black maria, the void formless beings, with a dragon and with the crazy superpowerful cat.

I may be missing some, and would elaborate but... you see, so many times it would take around, 10 pages? Probably more <.<

I ran away from Freddy Krueger in my dream one time. I didn't really fight him though, he just scared the crap out of me so I ran. He had the super long arms like in the first movie and he was screeching his knives against the metal fence.

I had a dream where aliens (have lots of alien invasion dreams) were invading, but they were the types the were shape-shifters and could pose as people I knew. Anyway, for a point this one alien had been chasing me through the woods, when my fear made me lucid, and I decided "fuck this" I'm going to stand up and fight. So I stopped, turned around and faced the alien head on, but it kept running at me.... and SHOVED its hand deep into my chest (Like Agent Smith in Matrix: Reloaded) and I felt the alien drain my life force, as it became me, and I died.

      This.

You're right, really. You have total control. It's just that sometimes, the control seems to slip away when we need it most. It's all in your head, which is more often than not the hardest part of yourself to control.

      Great point.

Check my DJ for the Medusa dream.

Of course, I had restricted my power... As to make it more fun.

      I'm loving Oneironaut's dream; it's EPIC!

I don't think I've ever had any lucid fights but in the non lucid ones I remember I had restricted movements where I could barley move my arms for a punch.

Not invincible, just omnipotent, but I see no point in fighting if you will always win. In truth, I look for fights to be defeated more than ones to defeat.

Damn Oneironaut, did you ever run into that guy again? That dream deserves a sequel!

The only lucid fight that I've lost, that I can remember at the moment, was against a "baby tree" after I made its mother explode. The traumatic aftermath of losing that fight has cost me my ability to make things explode. I haven't been able to do it ever since that dream.

I completely agree. I have much more fun with challenging fights, than I do with just dispatching malicious DC's without effort. I'd much rather get my ass kicked, every now and then, than to never have even felt like I had to try.

NO! And I've been looking all over for that guy. I've tried to summon him a few times, but I've never been able to do it. I haven't forgotten, though! I'll get his ass, one day!

My dream fights consist of me slaping rude DCs . But there was that one time I ran away from a shade ( bad entity from Eragon novels) I didn't run away really, just let the 7th incarnation of the Doctor take care of him.
I am related to Stanley Baldwin and through him , Rudyard Kipling.

I get my ass handed to me multiple times in dreams,
until i reach in my pocket for a knife and stabba stabba.

I remember one of the first times i summoned someone to fight in an LD. I ended up summoning a ninja wearing all black and he gave me a roundhouse kick to the skull. So what did i do? i stabbed his ass.

I think I've only ever lost one lucid fight and even then I don't think I actually lost because I got bored and woke up.
In this dream I was trapped inside a house, surrounded by Viking vampires. The people I was with fleed and didn't bother to tell me so I didn't know I was the only one fighting until last minute. The vampires didn't think I was worth much though and I remember being really offended by that.

I guess the number would be higher but when I find myself cornered with no way of winning I just wake up.

I'm not a violent person so I always start with running first but then I get tired and pissy so I stop and fight.

I've fled from fights many times, but i can't really remember which ones.

I only remember one time where i did the spin technique to stabilize the dream and a shady character appeared, stuck his hand out (agent smith style) and started draining my life force, so i woke myself up.

but I got him back... later on I did the same spin technique and he appeared again. I can't remember what I did but I know I killed him.

i've never lost a lucid fight. i've lost many, many regular dream ones, but not a lucid one.
Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead...only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

That is because the dreamworld is parallel to this world. I believe you explore the subconscious of yourself, and people you know in your waking life, during dreaming.
