My first lucid dream
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The same day I learn about lucid dreaming (March 19th), I had my first one. It was on my first try of trying to have a lucid dreaming also. I guess you can say I just got lucky to have it on my first try. Well anyways here is my first lucid dream written in black & white:
I was inside my house by the garage door. My sister, mom, and dad were standing by me. It was pitch black in my house and the only way I know they were there were by their outlines. It was nightime, so as you can imagine it was dark outside too. Only lited by the moon, which I didn't see in the dream. I went to the wall to turn on the lights in my house so I could see. But when I swicth the light switch the lights didn't turn on. This was when I realized I was dreaming and I instantly became lucid. I ran through the already opened garage door and got out of the garage and took of flying. I was about 30 feet in the air when I lost focused on my flying and I started falling. I was like the Incredible Hulk, waving my arms in the air when I'm falling from a big height. When I got to the ground (the impact of me hitting the ground didn't hurt. I actually fell on my feet.) I looked back at the sky, which look to me like it held thousands of star and thought to myself, "I can do this, I just need to focus on the stars". I took off again (without a running start this time) and focused on the stars until I woke up with exictment. I realized later that your that really suppose to be super-exicted in your dreams or you will wake up.
hope you enjoyed it. please comment on it.

You are so lucky. I would say that I'm an intermediate LD, but I still haven't flown for long distances. I usually do other things. Try looking at details in your dreams. Sometimes you'll be interested in what you see. Usually after I start flying I wake up soon after. I have also started flying in one of my dreams, without moving my arms, because I'm dreaming, so I can do what I want. But I stayed in place. Boring. So then I thought myself with wings. But I couldn't control where I went, Then I thought of two shoe things filled with helium connected to a rope. So, I stood on them but I lost my balance and instead held onto the rope, then I woke up. I wasn't satisfied

Don't worry. When I flew for that one time in my first lucid dream, I didn't fly a great distance either. I flew up to the sky but not that much. I was so excited, I woke up from the dream.
