      Interesting philosophical lucid

      Well I got lucid again the other night (well morning) after a WBTB. I was at work and I just realised I was dreaming. I expected the guy I like Josh to be there and he was. I told him I was dreaming and he didn't believe me, I said "'ll show you!" I cupped my hands and when I opened them there was a fairy there! It flew up into the air and flew away-it was really amazing! Josh looked really amazed, and then I just kissed him and we had a little conversation about me doing that-

      Me- See, I'm dreaming, if it was real-life I wouldn't have done that
      Josh-why not?
      Me-Because I'd be embarassed to
      Josh-Why aren't you embarassed now?
      Me-Because it's only a dream and it's not real
      Josh-But it's real while it's happening right now this moment...
      Me-(I thought for a second) Yehhh...but it won't be real when I wake-up, it's a lot shorter than real-life
      Josh-Well when you're dead your life won't be real anymore, and how do you know how long your life will last?

      This made me think a lot and i couldn't come up with an answer, I thought it was a really interesting conversation though! I didn't do much after that, woke-up after a bit. Fantastic dream though!

      That was a fanstastic dream. I had one similar, ,I was talking to my friend and I asked him "are you here" he explained that I was really talking to myself. I love ld's like that.

      Does your hubby talk philosophically in real life? Some deep meaning there I think.

      Yeh, I was really amazed at the conversation, I'm pretty philosophical and think about stuff like this, so I guess it came through in my dream.

      Sephiad- My hubby? Don't have a hubby, I'm single! Josh is just some guy I like at work-hence why if it was real life I wouldn't have kissed him!

      No-name- Yeh, I'm always on this forum, like everyday practically, but I don't post too often as I don't have that many great dreams!

      Hi Jules07,

      congrats on that lucid! I'm still waiting for my 'breakthrough' LD - I usually get all caught up in the environment or wanting to indulge myself and forget that there's all sorts of questions I'd like to ask a DC just to hear what kind of insight 'they' might have.

      I've often had interactions with DCs, but they're not done in a calm, casual sit-down type of situation.

      Thanks. Yeh I know what you mean, usually I'm just like "make the guy I like appear and do stuff" lol-which I did at first (hehe), but then I guess having a philosophical convo was something I've always wanted to do as well. Often I find with lucids, I have many goals I want to try, but then when I become lucid, I just focus on one of them and forget the rest, as if I'm still not completely in control. I can do whatever I want to do-but usually with only one situation if that makes sense. So I have to focus before I go to bed on what one thing I want to do in my next lucid.
