Very strange Lucid + a gift

Hey last night I had the strangest lucid dream. My friends and I were talking when this man and his friends show up. He was bragging about how he was pretty much perfect. This man was only wearing pants and shoes he was shirtless. When he turned around I saw tiny punctured holes on his back. I brought it to his attention and then he started to chase my friends and me over a bridge. There was a war going on both sides of the bridge. There was no water beneath it there was land. My guy friends start to run and jump over the bridge making it safely to the other sides. Eventually the bad guy chases me into a marsh. I realized I was dreaming because the only reason I would ever run would be if someone was chasing me. The guy started to through long metal rods connected to a net. He brazed me with the rod on my lower right arm then I was entangeled in the net. I tried to think of something to keep him away. Then a snapper came up beside him and got him. That was when I woke up and now I have a scar on my lower arm.

How is this a gift. Don't get shot in the face in your lucids or your face will be blown off when you wake up.. if you wake up.

Are you sure it wasn't there before, and you just haven't noticed it?
if you can read this then you are about to be punched

This is my interpretation. I'm not saying that this is definately what this dream means to you, or that it even has a meaning.
Your friends represent different parts of yourself. You are confronted with a new part of yourself, or a new situation, a new way of thinking. This is represented by the stranger. His smugness is either a self-righteous, conformist, or morally correct concept (at the beginning.) However, you see flaws in this piece of yourself that your conscious mind cannot see. First you notice soemthing that makes you unsure about it (the lack of a shirt) and then you see something that changes your mind. When you confront this facet of yourself it forces you into conflict (the bridge). Of course there is a war going on both sides. There is much conflict as you are trying to figure out what to think about this new aspect of your life.
Crossing the bridge could possibly mean that initially, you are handling this conflict well, but when you are across the bridge you continue to run from it. The marsh could be a difficulty in escaping the problem that confronts you.
At the time that one becomes lucid, one always loses some of the influence that the subconscious has on one's dream. This isn't a bad thing, but it does mean that a lucid dream usually has less symbolism in it, as one's conscious and subconscious mind both create aspects of the dream.
The conflict closes in for the kill, throwing things at you and actually affecting you now, as you are brazed by the rod (giggety). You are entangled in the net, so you can no longer run away from your problem.
In the end, the snapper could be the saving mechanism.. that part of your mind that prevents you from dying and thus ending the dream. I prefer to think that the conflict or problem that you were faced with was eliminated by an outside force. A third possibility is that when you were trying to think of something to keep him away, you conjured the snapper, and in this way defeated the conflict which ailed you.
But what the hell is a snapper? XD :p

so precise? so many assumptions? interesting, but this is too specific and also a bit too deep. maybe some of your points are possible. it is just impossible to tell. i personally believe its randomly fabricated, but includes a few personal memories/emotions from time to time. why does the whole dream have to mean something?

lol i mean cmon hellohihello, we both know its not possible to create this scar overnight. Firstly, in some rare occasions the brain has been tricked into thinking something has happened physically, which causes it to show signs. However these are minor things like swetting, muscle jolts, etc.
Anything more severe would require narcotics, and even THEN you cant create a scar out of nothing. A cut MAYBE, but it wouldnt heal within hours or minutes or seconds.

I have been back for less than an hour. I have seen seven of your posts, Death. They have ALL been negative. I can already tell that you are a troll. Please don't speak to me, or respond to my posts.

im not being rude. trolls are defined as controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off topic, who provoke people into an emotional response.

i have been neutral, no flaming, pointing out that OTHERS are irrelevant and off topic, and i do not provoke any arguments or purposefully cause an emotional response. See? im doing it again. being realistic. I just point out that i am a superior intellectual than a majority of the people on these forums.

You have not been neutral in ANY of the posts that I have read from you. Look back at your last twenty posts. They all disagree with whatever post was before it. You even use such lines as "What is wrong with you?"
      "whats this ridiculousness?"
"ur just pretty good at making ridiculous posts"
      "actually, your response is dumb."
"You made it personal by flaming me about being childish and a fanboy."

You don't have to use curse words to be a troll. You could do it by being disagreeable in ALL of your posts.

Anyway, I don't want to mess up this thread. I'm done talking about it here.

PM me if you want to finish this conversation. when i said neutral, i mean i wasnt taking a personal stance. when i use this vocabulary to push a side, i do not intend to offend. It is just a matter of making things clear for others. Maybe the reason all my posts are disagreeing with the other posts is because when i see something i disagree with, i post my opinions and reasons why i disagree. all on topic, no flaming. although i do agree that at times i will seem a little hostile (what is wrong with you), it is just a way of expressing my opinion, however i never try to force it upon others and all of my explanations have been relevant and realistic.

      ok back on topic
