I got a dream this night.
I was inside my car, then i saw a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!
It was a little far from me. The smoke was getting where i was, so I PINCHED MY NOSE TO NOT BREATH IT AND DIDN'T REMBERED TO REALITY CHECK THAT!

im a little bit confused? you stated you tried to pinch your nose NOT to breathe? or to see if you could breathe through it??
to not breath, but i was able to breath and didn't noticed :/
ahhhh, yah that has happened to me before. it for sure sucks a big one, but all you can do is notice it next time :)
Damn. Would've been fantastic to experience a nuclear explosion up close.
I get angry about those things too. It happened way too often that I didnt reality check something in dreams that I did reality check in real life for weeks!

This is actually more common than you think. It's happened to me several times.
I think you just need to work on making the reality test more efficient, more meaningful.
Pretty soon you won't need a reality check for this. One time I had a really really vivid dream that I was driving, and I heard a bolt fall off my truck. I was like "what now!" and suddenly it went up in flames with me still inside. Even though it was as real as it can be, I sunk in my seat and said "I'm dreaming" but I was still scared.
