FORUM RULES - Specifically the ADVERTISEMENT SECTION

I wouldn't mind it if you weren't CHARGING for the book. Seriously.

Like I'm gonna pay - hahahahahahaha, 20 dollars, seriously, 20 dollars, for the equivalent of 12 dream journal entries/Beyond dreaming threads here on the forum. Give me a break dude.

EDIT: Not to mention, that aren't even factual. Hey guys, I'll tell you about my lucid dreams, $1.50 each. Cheaper to get it from me!

Wow that was a pretty harsh reply, but he is right.
Whether or not this would qualify as a legit lucid aide is questionable.

Not to mention people post their dreaming experiences by the dozen on the dream journal forum. So you may have trouble getting people to pay for them.

It's not just the breaking of forum rules, it's also advertising a huge scam ($20 for 12 DJ entries), in addition to trying to make money off of the gift of lucid dreaming, AND implying that I and other forum members will actually pay for something like that. I mean, still more, they aren't even real lucid dreams, so of course things that would not really happen - could. Not to mention how she blatantly calls herself an "inspiring author" on the website. Add that to how harsh I usually am, and it's well called for.

EDIT: also, how much effort does it take to write 12 lucid dreams that are "inspiring"? Does someone really deserve to make a living off of it? This is the kind of person who would charge $20 for the software in my signature, which is awesome by the way, but that banhurt gave us for free.

Too true, you could buy a second-hand copy of LaBerge's work in book form for that price not a 62 page e-book.

I think it's fantastic though! A book of stories based on LD sound great, not for my wallet though.

      Hehehe

OP, if you want to advertise on the site contact one of the admins and ask for permission.

      The rules say
      Advertising

You must contact the administrators or moderators and get permission before you attempt to post solicitations or advertising. Anything that appears to be advertising or solicitation will be removed immediately. This does not apply to LEGITIMATE news, user guides, or lucid dreaming resources.
Obviously people have differing opinions on whether or not your stories count as a lucid dreaming resource. I for one don't (if only time spent on DV led to more LDs...), but one of the admins can decide and legitimize it for you or remove the post for you.

Come on, it's a book. You might as well say Lord of the Rings is a scam because none of that stuff is real.

If someone tries to make a living off lucid dreaming - why not let them? I'll buy this, might actually be an interesting read.

If you pay $20 per 12 dreams, that's the equivalent of paying over $1,000 to read through Onerionaut's dream journal. Would you pay that much for it?

You could rephrase that question to "Why shouldn't people pay more to become better at lucid dreaming?"

We do not allow advertising at Dreamviews.

Offering an ebook for sale with a direct link, suggesting a promotional incentive, and then mentioning affiliate commission, is clearly advertising.

You seem sincere in your lucid dreaming efforts, and a tad naive of the rules, so I won't issue an infraction. Please, for the future, read and take into consideration the rules and regulations at DV.

EDIT: I am also removing your signature link to your site, as it in itself links directly to a page with money making schemes. You are free to keep your home page link in your profile as it is currently.

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
