      Common Dream Signs

      I have recurring dreams about being in high school. Sometimes I'm attending high school, sometimes I'm just in a high school.

      I graduated from high school five years ago and have probably only been inside one a few times since then.


      Anyone else have strange, obscure dream signs that don't reflect what you do or see on a daily basis?

      Dreams (usually) shouldn't be taken literally. It may be that your experience with high school is similar to that of your experience with something else. I have read that the reason for this happening is to ease the pain that may come from seeing what you really should be seeing.

      EDIT: And yes, I have had those kinds of dreams signs. In fact, more often than not, my dream signs are not what I might expect to see in my dreams.

      I've read where your dreams are connected to your long term memory.It's notuncommon for me to dream about things from years ago- school, old neighborhood, old job ect.
      I've been out of school for twenty years but still dream about it sometimes. This is a great way to become lucid for me.Anything from your past is a good dreamsign. Try telling yourself that when you go to bed.

      i always seem to have car trouble in mah dreems. In waking life if i think i have a flat tire or somethin i always do a RC.

      One of my dream signs is zombies... So ya it's not uncommon to have obscure dream signs.
