First LD

Hi, this is my first post here. I have known about lucid dreaming for about a year now after reading various websites. Well last night I had my first lucid dream. It was an amazing experience :)

I was dreaming that I was at my house (but the house looked as if it did 10 years ago, no extention and different garden, perhaps this was what triggered the fact i was dreaming?) and I was walking round the house then I suddenly felt heavier until I fell to the floor, then it just hit me that I knew I was dreaming. I knew I was dreaming but I couldn't control what was happening then I floated up over the house, it was such an amazing feeling. Movement was strange, i couldn't control it and it was like i was moving in big waves, up as high as the house then curving down to the ground again. Then i floated really high as if i was leaving the area (perhaps the dream) so i made a swimming motion and i felt that i had some control now and i slowy moved back towards the house. I landed on the grass and looked up to the sky, brilliant blue sky. Then i floated up again and slowly lost control until i floated down and woke up. The dream lasted what seemed to be around 1 minute

Having this dream re-triggered my interest and now i've found this forum so i can look into it more! :)

Often my lucid dreams consist of just standing there in awe of how amazing it is :P
